Are you asking a question about the physics of the Earth's rotation? If so, then I don't know why it spins. How is the ME2 related?

Um, hopefully its a focal point of ME3, along with the other central areas of galactic importance. We got a good bit of this in ME2 for once (YAY!), but it leaves open the chance to visit other capital areas.

the screw up was casued by nuke warfare (see Earth 2150)
