Will F/F or M/M romances ever be DLC?

The more options, the more people, the bigger fanbase / customerbase.
Since they're optional everyone is happy.

For example, the upcoming Dragon Age: Origins expansion, Awakening. Something that big, with five new party members, I'd be surprised if one of them wasn't a possible love interest.

Nada. Especially if you can't even have a conversation with them like with Zaeed.
I meant on existing characters, like Tali for FemShep (it's practically already there, but it's like just as you're on the cusp of getting lovely, it just ends).

Apart from Kelly, where? Morinth? As a Paragon Shep, Morinth isn't really an option for the team. The only thing you can do is get Kelly. But that doesn't get you the romance achievement.VaguelyAware wrote...

I mean there is unisex bathrooms in the game.. Females being topless is in the game is seen to be just ass acceptable as males being topless.
The only time in the game where there is not such strong lack of gender bias is when humans are involved.
In the real world we are very close to a society were woman can do the same jobs and activities as men without people giving them trouble. Soon we will have unisex bathrooms and changeing rooms.. Yet in the real world this is happening AFTER the majority of educated middle class + people are already bisexual.
So the game is kinda backwards..
Edit: I forgot what game it was.. but its a recent one and you can have sex with another guy.. the scene was just as tastefull as ME 1.

I know. it killed me when i realised last night that Tali was not available for my Femshep. It was the single biggest thing i had my fingers crossed for on ME2 (now i have to settle for Kelly?.....ugh). I have a Male Shep character that's ok, but whatever........it sucks. i bet you there are enough Tali fans who wanted f/f on these forums alone to justify such DLC. i'd pay good money for it.
Tali for Femshep FTW. i can't believe they blew it on that one.

I swicthed to a male shep for ME2 just because of the lack of F/F options. It's tough... I WANT WANT WANT to play a female shep, but I really can't stand having males hitting on me. *sigh*
with you 100%. another thing on that is that i hate the fact that they have Femshep go all seductress when you are simply trying to talk to jacob about something. wtf? seriously
If the predominant theory on the forums as to why there is no M/M romances is that the player base is too gayed-out by it, what about the above? that gays me out worse than anything else.

I believe that the most likely reason for the absence of the option was the belief that there isn't much demand for it. If shown otherwise, I'm pretty sure that the devs will react, as they did with Tali and Garrus romances.

If somebody can just crack the game and unpack everything then I or any other number of people could import the models into 3DSmax or Maya and sculpt a nude mesh and texture it with samples from the game and then boom. I can do that part I just suck at animation and event scripting but there are people out there that would do it in a matter of days after the game was moddable.

Agreed. In ME1 I took every opportunity to tell Kaiden to get the hell away from me. ;-) It was a blessing to kill him off.

It's not with Tali. They don't care.
