After jumping through the Omega 4 Relay, the Normandy was looking at the giant collector base and the big garbage ship field.

I had all my ship upgrades (guns, armor, etc) so i didn't have a problem going through, or destroying the reapers ship, we crashed on to the base (not sure if there's a way to actually successfully land or not)

I assigned Legion to the pipe mission and i had Thane lead the firing squad. My first casualty occurred when we had to get the doors open, Legion and i were shutting the doors when he got shot in the face by a rocket launcher and dropped to the ground.

Next up was meeting up with my kidnapped crew, they all lived. I had jacob bring them back. I assigned Samara as my biotic shield and had Grunt lead the second team. Thane and Miranda were the two i used on my squad. After making our way through the insects Samara started to get weak, so we all ran through the door, this is where casualty number two happened. Thane was right behind us, last in line, when the insects picked him up and took him up into the base, that was the last we saw of him.

After making our way through the doors, Grunt and his team came in. Grunt came stumbling in and telling me about how they ripped through his shields. He leaned up against a wall and his head fell. My third death on the team.

After fighting the human reaper (Miranda and Jack as my teammates) and deciding to blow up the base i got in contact with Joker and asked how my defending squad did. He told me that the SURVIVORS made their way back to the ship, it was at this point that a little cutscene showed Samara's body with collectors passing by it.

We made it back to the ship, my Shepard looked over four caskets in the ship.

So overall...

Made it to the base.

Legion, Grunt, Thane, and Samara were my team casualties.

Blew up the base.

Made it out alive.

I'm interested to see the endings other people got as well, so feel free to post your stories too.

PS: Do not use Thane in pipes (Only Casuality) He had problem with doors opening and closing. Use Tali I think due to enviro suit and High tech skills.

I had Tali go through the pipes, she got through just fine. First squad commander was Garrus, my team consisted of Grunt and Zaeed. Only managed to save doc Chakwa and Kelly, the rest of the crew died because I had done a couple side quests before going through the relay. I had Garrus lead the crew back, had miranda for second squad leader, had Samara as my specialist. After beating teh final boss, only casulty was Mordin for some odd reason.



I plan on having Mordin go with the crew next time.



I had just about every single upgrade, but 1 tech upgrade. Even the non-essential ship upgrades.

Mordin was my only casualty, he went through the tubes and took the shot in the face. I had Miranda lead the second fire team and (like Grunt) she was shot but shrugged it off. I also used SuZe instead of Samara for the mass effect field, she got weak at the end but survived in typical SuZe fashion.

I really think that my Thane's death was my most random casualty. He was in my squad and they just single'd him out and killed him. I made a save before i made the jump but i wanted to see the casualties i'd get.

I had Legion go through the pipes, and Garrus lead the diversion team. I took Tali, and Jacob to the door, and then switched Tali out for Legion. When we found the Normandy crew I sent Thane with them, and didn't loose anyone at that point. I kept Garrus as leader of the diversion team, and with Legion and Jacob was able to beat the end and not loose anyone.

Mordin was the only character I never spoke to after finishing his personal quest, dunno if that had anything to do with it.
