Hello

After about 5 minutes or so after the a new game starting, the game crashes and causes the machine to reboot.

I've tried every graphic setting going, but seems to have to impact on the crash. i.e. maxium graphics or minium graphics, the game crashes in the same place (the point Shepard is trying to get the pilot to the escape pod in the normandy).

The machine is an AMD Phenom 9600 Quad core (2.4GHz) with 4Gb of RAM and a 8800GTS with 1Gb of NVRAM

DirectX and nVidia drivers are latest available (I've tried older nVidia driver too).

I've tried running the game both under XP SP3 and Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, crashing occurs in the same place.

Anybody got any clues ?

I have a similar issue, though mine occurs whenever the game is minimized/exited.



Phenom 9500 Quad Core, 8GB RAM, and GeForce 9600 GSO 512.

Hmm... disabling Comodo Antivirus/Firewall seems to have cured my issue.

Disable my anti-virus (clamwin), and so far all is well

Tried disabling my antivirus, avast, but no dice. I cant start up my game.
