Then, while I was trying to find Samara, I was attempting to open a door, and I hit some unknown combination of buttons, or something. Because all of a sudden, the keys no longer affected the game. At the same time, I noticed that there was a flickering white rectangular box, and when I hit CAD, I saw that this white box had a bunch of calligraphy figures inside of it. No one idea where this thing came from.
In the end, I had to use task manager to force the game close. After that, when I started playing the game again, load times were now taking up to thirty sec to a full minute or more, where before they used to only take ten seconds. Also, I could only play a few hours before the game would crash, giving me a 'Mass Effect 2 has stopped working' message.
Any idea what I did or how to fix it?
