So, long story short.  I mainly use quick save.  And quick saved during a period where my net connection had droppped without me knowing.  And all the DLC content had been reset.  Shale is no longer in my party, or at camp, or at the area you find him.  And the Soldier's Peak is vacant of anyone, enemies or friendlies, but the keep itself is not enterable, as it is after you clean it out.  So, basically my save game is corrupted in the sense that I lost access to all the DLC, and can't get it back without starting a new game.  I was about 65% done with the game. 

Needless to say, my enthusiasm for another play through has waned considerably knowing that if I happen to save the game while I am not connected to the internet, I could lose access to all the DLC.  You do REALLY have to authorize the DLC EVERYTIME you play the game?  I would expect a one time auth to verify the code, and make sure it had only been used that one time.  But EVERYTIME?  And MID-GAME?  Come on guys.  I really want to support Mac gaming, but it's half assed efforts like this that are going to insure the Mac gaming market never progresses beyond the pathetic existence it has now...  Very disappointing guys.  Very...
