What is up with his eyes? They look like they are cybernetic implants or something. It made me wonder if TIM is even "human" at all, or maybe he was really injured and got implants?

Considering his interests in technology especially at the end it wouldn't surprise me if he was a cyborg of sorts.

It's just an "upgrade" so that he can see outside the visual spectrum.
Basically, it's so he can see through Miranda's top.

The suits have stuff to deal with small punctures, per a dozen or so different pieces of dialog in either game.

Kal got shot too, the suit seals off segments of itself to prevent the air from spreading across the inside ofthe suit, and administers antibiotics to deal with infection.

Note that I haven't finished the game yet, but the first thing that struck me was "this guy's got the same freaky eyes Saren had". My guess? A "shocking revelation" that the Illusive Man is somehow actually working for the Reapers.

Those Evil Eyes are either:
a) a clue that the Illusive Man is not who he appears *cure ominous music*
just plain old cybernetic eyes...

It would've been awesome to get something like that with a tech class, considering the whole visual augmentation/scarring deal Bioware made a fuss out of in ME2. Am I the only one who wanted the ear coverings that NPCs got with their shields rather than the tech armor stuff?

I was just about to start a topic just like this, haha. I think they are cybernetic implants, maybe something to do with his space office.
