How should i upgrade my squad?

Depends on who you use. If you really like a particular squaddy, and they have specific upgrades like Mordin, Legion, Jack, and Grunt do, then get those. If you use a squaddy who shares a specialization with your Shep, like being a Sentinel/Engineer/Infiltrator and taking Tali along, then get those upgrades that benefit both of you. If you use sniper rifles and like to bring Garrus along, then upgrade the hell out of sniper rifles.



Basically, look at who you like to bring, and upgrade the crap out of the stuff they like.
