Yes, yes, we all seem to have this issue, and no-one seems to have the solution. Why no word from the troublemakers themselves? We should get all Dragon Age: Origins DLC for free, plus removal of DRM for this major f-up. Been months since I last played, and when I eventually give it another go, I'm not allowed to. Why don't they just shoot themselves in the head, instead of just their feet?

Edit: Ah, didn't see the last post there :) Fine, then. Let's play the waiting game. I loose.

"Over the April 9, 2011 weekend, some of our Dragon Age: Origins content servers experienced an as yet unidentified failure. As a result, users began to experience error messages when attempting to access their downloadable content, indicating that the DLC was unauthorized.

We apologize for the inconvenience and are currently investigating and working to resolve the issue on our end. We will update this thread once we know more."

Well now... at least we know. :|

if you dont care about playing the downloaded stuff like Warden's Keep then edit the Addins file using notepad. find RequiresAuthorization="1" and change the 1 to 0. Save it and then start the game, you'll be able to load your saved game.

This worked!!! thanks all

Locate AddIns.xml in "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using WordPad or any XML editor. Replace all RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".

So I had this problem in april, someone found if you disconected your internet so it couldn't log in it would bypass whatever it was failing to do and you could play your game. Now it's happening again and that is not fixing it. All I can say is EA is now costing this franchise future earnings, we were set to go by DA2 but if they can't give me what I paid for now Im sure as F*CK not going to give them one more red cent, and I have begun telling everyone i know to NEVER buy anything from Bioware or EA til they fix this shyte. I expect to jump through hoops like this when I play on someone elses servers like in WoW, this is content I paid for on my PC. Fix your shyte guys or get boycotted.

For me it was something I had done wrong. I hope this helps some of you.
I, trying to speed up my computer, frequently run "msconfig" and check what programs and services I run on start up. Well guess what I turned off a long time ago?

Click Start, click "Run", and type "msconfig".
Under the "Services" tab, there is a non-Microsoft service called "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater". I had unchecked it. I checked it and restarted my computer and what do you know!
All my save games work again. I realize this may not be the fix for all of you, but I imagine this will help several people who Google their problem and wind up here like I did last week.
Cheers.
