I was one of the few who where able to download Return to Ostagar when it accidentaly came online on January 13th. I finished it but did not receive the achievement In War, Victory (Defeated the ogre that killed King Cailain). Now that the RTO DLC is online again, will it unlock the achievement by itself or do I have to play the DLC again?

I had to play through it again. I assume you deleted the bad update before playing it. Make sure you grab the new update first. It unlocked for me no problem after that.
