Here's a question... they kept saying Shepard could die, has anyone had that happen yet?

My friend apparently did on his renegade playthrough where he screwed everything up on purpose.

I'm not all the way done with my first playthrough ..I'm finishing up the suicide mission right now. Why did my Legion die lol? I'm pissed! I wanted everyone to to survive (duh). A PP in this thread wonders why so many die..I have no idea. I put Legion in the ducts on the Collector ship, seems to be a good choice, he's a freaking geth, and a tech specialist if there was one. I did his loyalty mission and he died holding the doors, I had no CHOICE regarding him holding the door or whatever, it was a cutscene and bam.



I'm worried b/c I did all the ship upgrades, I did all the loyalty missions flawlessly. But since I for some reason couldn't use the Paragon choice of conversation when Miranda and Jack get into a stupid cat fight, Miranda's loyalty is 'normal'.



I chose Garrus to be a team leader and for Jacob to lead the crew back to the Normandy. Based on what I'm reading here I guess I can expect Mordin to possibly die? And possibly others :\\. I have no idea why.

That's where Legion died for me as well, I suspect I chose the wrong team leader.

With no deaths, I had Garrus lead fire team 1 and Miranda 2. Tali handled vents. Jacob escorted the people back and Tali/Garrus were my final party.

no one died for me except mordin at the end... but strangely enough when shep was arguing with the illusive man he said people lost their lives to bring down the ship. MORDIN WAS NOT SHOWN TO BE DEAD AT THAT POINT WTF>? i thought it was strange because for all my knowledge up until that point everyone was alive it wasn't until after i'm escaping they show him deadsies on the floor from god knows what.

Apparently people are confused that they cant just stick who ever they want on any job and have it go well, and that is the cause for all these threads.

I have all the upgrades, and I too lost Mordin. I'm gonna replay the end again and take him with me, then he shouldn't be able to die.



I always make Miranda the Second Group Leader, since she has the leadership skills...I believe Jacob and Garrus are 2 options as well that would make it work. I send Zaeed back with the Chakwas, since he seems the be the best option to send alone, but I could be wrong...

I sent Grunt back with the Crew... an invisible Tank-Bred Pure Krogan just seeemed like the right man for the job.

It might be that you missed out on a mission, that could have saved Thane before going into the mass 4 relay. Or, it could be that you didn't play his loyalty mission the right way.

Did you play all of the missions before going into the mass 4 relay?
