So i just finished the game with all characters surviving and got the option to continue
i'm just wandering if anything i do will carry over to mass effect  3 or it only counts up to the last mission. i've seen that a new game + lets you choose the files after but i didn't see if it said anything

and also is there anything new you can do after continuing?
i've talked to each member and they say something about the ending then they just seem to forget it's happened and i've really got nothing left to do, is there anything i should do before i start a new game?

So far what you can do is complete the missions you didn't before, no doubt more missions will come later as DLC as well, perhaps some even designed to take place after the final mission.
