Hey there, I just completed ME2 and I am trying to understand where my Mass Effect 2 Completed game save file would be. When I completed 1, it was in the save game folder with a different name
It was
Char_01-50-2-3-0-11-11-2009-25-33.MassEffectSave
Now I cannot find anything similar in the Mass Effect 2 save folder, is it because I chose to continue to go around the galaxy? Any help would be appreciated, thank you for time

For XP, it should be in My Documents->BioWare->Mass Effect 2->Save. In the save folder should be folders with your character's names.

Yes, that is what I have, what i'm asking for is where is the completed game save. I only see regular saves, nothing points to a save that is made for transferring to ME3, I need to know so I can save it to my backup hard drive

Save the entire save folder, as I don't think anyone knows yet what the situation will be for ME3.

In Mass Effect 1, there was an obvious save file that was found within the mass effect folder that showed that it was a "Game Complete", too bad there's nothing like that here
