What was your favorite loyalty mission?

I went the paragon route, and made the speach about how she helped stopped Saren and what not, and it was just such an epic emotional moment. The way the whole thing was built up. Finding out what her father was doing, then Tali finding him dead. I couldn't help myself, I had to use the paragon interupt and give her a hug, the emotion in that scene was so well done, great voice acting and dialogue. Then when you go back to the trail and show up, interupting them about to cast you off as dead, it just set it up perfect. Then the speach you give was just amazing, and you can tell she is touched by it.
So what was your favorite loyalty mission?

Nope, can't choose a favorite. Haven't done all of them yet, btw, but so far I really like how every mission is really different. It's not all 'run in, kill all the bad guys, run out'. There's a real story to each loyalty mission and that makes them all awesome. I really enjoyed Tali's mission, because of the story, and Legion's mission, because of the morally questionable decision of killing vs. brainwashing the heretics. One of the tougher choices (that is, not clear-cut) in the game.

As for me: Garrus, Tali (Shouldn't have been a loyalty, should have been an entire mission with alot more of the flotilla), Samara (Insulting krogan, beating up turians, lots of fun.).

Garrus' mission was intense throughout and the showdown was phenomenal.
Samara's was very interesting, especially when the objective isn't to go firing your weapon but to hunt a hunter and beat her at her own game.
Grunt's was straight-up fun and action. I loved headbutting that one krogan. XD

Jack's whole storyline is great, and it almost made me romance her instead of Tali. Jack's love scene is so much more beautiful, simply because she is such a damaged person.

I know but I just think that the a typical coming of age trial stuff could have been something else. Dont know what, its just something that seemed to lack alittle bit of creativity compared to the others. The Redshirt wrote...
Grunt's loyalty was what it had to be, a very violent challenge to fit a very violent character.

Even had something in my eye as she went to speak to sister for first time.
Sadly, other then (to lesser degree) Thanes storyline, thats about were emotional involvement ended in ME2.
Hated Sams loyalty quest and Grunts was well uninspiored like the character!
I cant beleive the same writers that created Wrex came up with Grunt! So freaking disappointed storywise.

Overall...
1. Miranda/Tali (best emotionally)
2. Garrus (never had a more instense, suspenseful sequence)
3. Thane/Samara (refreshing change of pace)

I also liked Zaeed's a lot. Despite being Paragon 70% of the time, I actually made an exception for Zaeed and let the workers die - partly because I've gowned to care about Zaeed alot at that point. To see someone with such worldly wisdom and a heart of gold (by merc standards anyway) to act like that was really compelling.
The comparison between the two loyalty missions were Garrus' mark doesn't deserve to die, and Zaeed's did. So having to make contradictory decisions in both missions really made me think how far I would go to exert revenge.
I dislike Tali's loyalty mission - as much as I care for her I found Tali's actions totally unconvincing and immature. And even though I did make the speech myself, I found it oddly out of context. One of the admirals was right - what does it have to do with the trial?

I am partial to Tali's mission as we finally get to see the Migrant Fleet that we hear so much about in the first game. It really gives you a sense of how messed up the Quarian's lives really are. I also like Zaeed's mission as it comes down to a choice of ethics here. Do you save people and forgo Loyalty from Zaeed, or do you bare down on Zaeed's target? Not gonna lie, the screams of burning people got to me a little.
I Paragoned Zaeed into being loyal even though his target got away. I thought it was a neat ending, consistant with my character.
