Thane because it didn't require shooting at all, and punching the guy over and over was enjoyable.
Samara because going into the club was the ****.

Thanes cuse it was more covert and stealthy than the rest of the game it was a good change up
Samar's cuse its more about being under cover and mixing up things
Legions cuse you hold the fate of the geth in your hands and can chose to make them stronger or weaker.

Plus, the part where he punches a certain ex-C-Sec officer in the stomach and drags him across the floor to slam him up against a wall was ****ing awesome. ;D

Also just a quick question- I'm currently at the part where I need to require the reaper IFF. I have finished all the other missions before this and was just about to begin this mission when I realized that thane was not loyal. All of the others are loyal to me but him. I looked it up and it says that he was supposed to stop his kid from killing the guy you follow on that mission. But the problem is that on that mission it just had me follow the guy and update thane where he was. I continued to follow him then it went to a cut scene and his kid assassinated the guy. At the time I thought that was fine because I didn't have the option to stop him. So I finished that mission and it said I unlocked a new outfit and everything for thane. So I continued to play and now i'm here looking back and it says he's not loyal, I can't change his outfit and I can't go back to an old save. Does anyone know why this happened and has it happened to you? Sorry for the big post I can't seem to figure out how to start my own thread on here.

I liked Garrus', but that's probably just because I like the character.

He kneed the guy a bit lower than that, but it was awesome. XD It served "Fade" right. Garrus' entire mission was just...wow.

Thane's and Samara's struck me the most because they involved no combat at all. I've been thrilled at how some N7 missions and 2 loyalty missions don't require you to shoot a single shot.
These were my favorites as well. Being stuck in Morinth's apartment, wandering around and hearing her comments about chess and fencing makes you want to scream and run. Thane's was an interesting emotional roller coaster, and I liked punching the guy in the interrogation room.

I liked tali's because of the use of the elements around you in this case the sun. It put a different spin on things. Like the side mission where your on the crashed ship thats balancing on the edge of a cliff getting ready to fall. As you progressed on the ship it would fall apart and rock back and forth.

You can do loyalty missions without earning your squadmate's loyalty. But you will lock their costume.
For me, there was a Paragon/Renegade option. I dont remeber which, but i think Shep shot a lamp or something and Thane disarmed the assassin. Either way, it ended with Thane's son not shooting the turian.

Thane's was a great change of pace and quite intriguing.
I liked Samara's for the seedy atmosphere and it kept me the almighty Shepherd on edge. That was Quite exhilarating being in Morinth's apartment.
Legion's was also very atmospheric and different. I like geth too, so what can I say.
Tali's was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite.
the others were good too, but not nearly my favorite.

Miranda's was the best character-development wise. You see genetically-engineered superwoman vulnerable in a couple of different ways--she's VERY upset when she makes a mistake (because she thinks she 'should' always be correct) and shows unexpected compassion for her sister. Opened the door to me thinking about leaving Ashley, which I wasn't going to do. (And didn't until much later. I freaked out a bit when she was knocked down in the collector ship mission. Felt like if that was my emotional reaction, had to go with it.)
Tali's was also really good. I like Tali a lot, and it was cool to see the Migrant Fleet. It was a thoroughly dense story mission, too, with lots of back-dealing going on in Quarian politics. Shepherd's courtroom speech was awesome, it's great to see him in a diplomat-thinker role, less Master Chief and more Captain Jean-Luc Picard! It also made an interesting point about Tali's role showing the galaxy the worth of Quarians; I had assumed the larger number of Quarians running around in ME2 was a purely technical improvement, but it's nifty to think that her role elevated the status of her people so that they're more accepted. Lots of moral issues at play here, too--should the Quarians reclaim THEIR world (at possibly a high cost), or settle a new one? And what about the Geth--one thing if they're working for the Reapers, but aren't they a life-form that have a right to exist?
Morten was one of the most interesting moral dilemmas in games. When I saw the infected human, I thought this would be a straightforward do-you-use-useful-thing-acquired-in-evil-manner choice. But Morten's arguments (or rationalizations if you prefer) about the Genophage project are interesting. The Krogan are, after all, long-lived, prone to violence, and extremely tough--add extreme fertility to that and it's highly dangerous. On the other hand, maybe the Krogan are such troublemakers precisely BECAUSE they have no hope for the future of their culture. Morten's assistant is right, the Salarians are playing God with the Krogan. The moment that really got me was the captured Krogan who was being experimented on, and you say to him, "You can go," and he says, "NO! I have to stay! I'm helping cure the genophage!"
Worst:
Jacob's. It could've been about anyone; you learned more about what happened on the planet then his relationship with his father. Replace Jacob's father with any other NPC and it would still play 99 percent the same.
So close, and yet...
Grunt: Appropriate level design over all, but I was a little disappointed that the Avalanche heavy weapon barely scratched the Thresher Maw but my Heavy Pistol tore it to pieces.
Samarra: Intriguing set-up with a highly consequential choice at the end--I like the IDEA of this quest more then the execution. But luring Morinth felt easier then it should've been, and when she showed up she didn't seem that much more powerfully seductive then any typical asari. (Maybe I should let myself be hypnotized on some playthrough...I wonder if people doing a 'neutral', non-renegade, non-paragon playthrough get really screwed, here...)

2. Legion - very interesting information about the Geth; I also liked the cool design of the Heretic station
3. Garrus - mostly the interaction with Harkin, showing that Garrus has become quite the badass
My least favorite is probably between Miranda and Zaeed but I think Zaeed has the edge in terms of being better if not just for the ending when he torches the guy and calmly walks away. Very cool. Miranda gets low marks mostly because, I believe, her character was a bit boring and the mission itself seemed bland. The ending got some high marks because you could see Miranda's cliché "tough girl" attitude cracking, but it was still a tad cliché.
On second thought, maybe Miranda being the most dull character (in my opinion) is making me think too negatively of her mission. Hmm ...

2. My second favorite had to be Thane's. I liked the fact that he still cared about his son enough to stop him from becoming an assassin. The whole mission just added so much to his character that I didn't think was there. And Kolyat is an awesome name lol.
3. Also Garrus's mission was pretty good too, I liked that you could let his former squadie explain himself and Garrus letting him go. It was obviously hard for him to and really added to his character mor then some of the other missions.
But still, Tali's reigns supreme both as my favorite loyalty mission and favorite character.
