This usually means they're working or taking a well-deserved holiday.

3 options -

1 - They've taking a break (much deserved)

2 - They're busy fixing bugs and developing new content for DLC

3 - These forums seem to be quite hate-filled, and if I were them, I wouldn't want to come in here either.

I don't really feel much hate on the forum, apart from the helmet issue that is getting a lot of focus. Anything else is really no more than common I think. Man, this game was awesome, they should be here basking in glory.

The game just came out... The forums are probably booming.

They'll probably make more of an appearance when things die down.

4. They're playing through ME2 while taking a much deserved break.

^ Wouldn't they already be sick of playing through it?

I say they're on a break ("well-deserved" is an understatement). Don't all big companies have long vacations after the project is finished?

Go to the non-spoiler section, it's overflowing with seething internet tough-guy rage. That's why I registered my game and came here. Much more polite and enjoyable.

Bioware, have a beer on me. Only one though, you all have to share. I can't afford to buy everyone a beer.

It's really a job like any other, that's what the salary is for, the big deal is for us who are waiting for the game. You come in, you code and discuss, and you go home, although from my days in a gaming company, we often worked whenever we wanted (rather flexible work hours) and often hanged back to play games after hours too :P

They reply when all the kiddies go back to w/e they were doing before. ME 1 had huge influx of posts for the first few months then it died down, most internet tough guys went home and who were left were the intelligent and true fans. That's where bioware starts to come in, jogging down notes of what worked and what didn't. Or that's how I see it going down.

BIOWARE should be working on an BIG patch. to fix alot of stuff, so this game become as good as it should be,
as it is atm, i dont wanna play throu the game one more time,, the only thing there is to do,, is to recruit squad members,,,,

Scanning
Fix Global cooldown, that make casters useless ''force u to have 2 of them to be in any use''
A little more freelance. so many planets to scan. and almost NOTHING interesting on them.
More insta action, how do u do if u wanna shoot something NOW ?? try to find an quest? and then spend 20min to run and talk before u can shoot something..

just some of the things i miss

Unlike you, they have lives of their own. Let them go and have some fun before they come back to it.

They have already been working on ME 3 for several months, if the reports are to be believed. So with that said, they are going to be rather busy for the next two years so we can be on this forums again and chatting it up by the conclusion of the ME saga!

As for taking long vacations after projects, lol, not so much in the US...

According to a recent interview with Casey they're already hard at work on ME3 and ME2 DLC. And just because they aren't making their presence known yet doesn't mean they aren't watching these forums to gauge fans overall reactions, suggestions and complaints.

Bioware does't seem to take much of a break.  Word is that the Dragon Age and ME teams are already busy working on their respective sequels, plus they got the MMORPG team, DLC teams, then whatever is left goes to secret projects and the like.

It's what they do for a living. One thing is done, you begin working on the next. Everyone has bills.

Sounds like you need to find another game to play.

I second that. I would imagine that they are taking a short break before delving into ME3 at full steam. I rather like the idea though that they are going to wait for some time before they make a big appearance so that way all the teenagers and RPG-hating players can go home and trade their copies in. Leave the fan input to the FANS.
