Renegade Shepard, Illusive Man, and Saren all have those eyes from cybernetic implants. It was clear Saren and Shepard were implanted, and if you don't heal your scars and go Renegade, Shepard get's Illusive Man eyes, but red. Which would lead me to believe Illusive Man has had some work done.

And why not? its not like he cant afford it.He dropped 4 billion on bringing sheppard back and who knows how much on the new normandy.Getting implants is cheap next to those kind of expenses.

Cybernetic augmentations. Shep can show them off as well, if he's renegade enough.

If TIM is a reaper, he's pretty good at acting.

I don't trust TIM at all which is why I didn't get him the Collector ship at the end of the game, but I really do not think he was a Reaper, nor do I think he was indoctrinated. That seems a bit much.

TIM is probably a reaper, the shadow broker, and half-life's gman.

I agree, he just has cybernetic eyes, probably the best money could buy seeing as he is TIM, leader of Cerberus.

He wanted the base to get the hands of technology that could make Reapers, just think of what he could do with that. And seeing as he is the leader of a pro-human group that will do anything to get there way, it seems very deadly.

He is not a reaper. It would not make sense and he would be the best actor in the universe.

I was actually kind of thinking that TIM may be subtly being indoctrinated by some reaper. He has most certainly gotten his hands on some reaper tech and it seems that much of it carries the taint of indoctrination. He seemed very upset when I decided to blow the station up, almost like he had an attachment to the technology he could have salvaged. Might just be ocular implants to repair degenerated eyes. It bugged me too, but lots of people just shot me down on an earlier post about this saying they're just common implants.

2 thoughts.

1. Why couldn't another reaper be an impossibly good actor? After existing for countless milennia? just because sovereign was antisocial... All reaper could be drastically different personality wise as they each serve a different function. I suspected early on that the reason the TIM was only accessible via holo was because he doesn't actually physically exist.

2. I would also wager the reason the star changes color from red to blue in the background depending on your choice at the end is more than just symbolic. After all, the star the collector base was orbiting was "red". Is it not possible that the reason we saw a "red"ish background all alone is because the reaper projection was housing its "persona" in the station surrounding that star? If the reaper construct is a sum of all memories/abilities of those who go into it, would it not make sense to want shephard who was the "most powerful" human ever to be a part of that? Furthermore, to answer impending doubts... as you'll recall, TIM wanted shephard to be "as he was". Also, he wasn't finished yet. Perhaps he was to be delivered to TIM for absorption when he was done, or maybe this was all a clever reuse to get shephard to collect the power folks on the list to also be "absorbed" ending with shephard delivering himself on a silver platter to the station under the guise of stopping it. and when he succeeded, TIM was like ..er... yeah.. so..keep the station we uh.. can study it! yeah!

He wasn't -that- angry after all, since he'd been working on this presumably for over 50k years, whats another 1k.

Also, what reaper you ask? well, the floating husk of course. Why would they be building a new reaper body but to house the hive mind of the one that was destroyed/damaged.

I'd wager to guess that the name of that reaper is either Harbringer or Cerberus.

Another theory I had involved there being a third reaper in our system. One that was perhaps renegade from the rest. If the geth can have 2 seperate conclusions, why can't reaper. Perhaps this one is either A) against the reaper philosophy of kill'em all or B) he's trying to somehow gain control over the other reapers..

all in all, we'll find out in ME3!!

The 'star' the collector base was orbitting was the black hole in the center of the galaxy. It appears luminal because light bends around it, and you are still thousands of LY away from it.
