I was wondering if anyone knew whether you get the same XP for rushing down the Orange mob, and not killing all his minions first as if you kill all the minions then kill the orange guy.

This of course refering to bosses who surrender once you dip them low enough. I have been killing all minions first, then the guy but lately im not noticing much of an EXP difference re-loading and killing just the orange.

You get more for killing their minions first because if you force the boss to quit before killing anyone, you get no exp, but if you kill the minions first you get the exp for killing them. This is in addition to any quest exp you may get.
