Hi guys,
I've just installed ME2 on my PC. I have Windows 7 Pro 64bit installed but can't launch the game because it requires Directx9. I thought that Directx 11 will be compatible with Dx9. Is there any way to play the game without installing DX9 ??   Thanks,

Just install the DirectX 9 Redistributable (it should be even on the dvds) and it'll fix those very few dx9 only related files that the game needs... you had to do the same on Vista too

You still need the dx9 runtimes, even if you have windows 7. Directx 11 can't actually run dx9 games as far as I know.

Thanks for replay. I guess I'll have to install good old DX9.
