i made the ultimate sacrifice and the Epilogue is totally
shocking.

First of all i gotta say something:this is my first playthrough and probably
the last one.i don't like to play this game twice because i am sure i won't
have the original decision and a natural mind.i want to keep my
version, although it almost drive me crazy to persuade myself.but before
DA-awaking come out,i'd like to figure out these problems.Thank you for reading
my topic

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well,my relationship with Morrigan is fine.i can choose
'kiss her' at camp, but i didn't, and that's the last conversation before her
offer .so i didn't have romance with Morrigan.

i refuse to sleep with her ,also i refuse her to sleep with
Alistair or any other people. She left of course, saying 'you're a fool'.

at the last battle,i kill the archdemon, and i die as a
result.In the
Epilogue,  it says Morrigan leaves the party the night before the final
battle when the
Warden refuses her offer. She is later seen traveling through the
Frostback Mountains alone. Several years later, tales out of Orlais
said that a strange dark-haired mage had insinuated herself within the
empress's court .

so when i resume the game,i still alive but i can only stay in camp ,since i
should have died but...it's really confusing.

Here's my Question:1.what can i do with nowhere to go. 2.when Alistair
still in my camp,he should be king.3.in the Epilogue, every member has a
conclusion and nobody should be in the camp! 4.so,what about Morrigan
now?Where's Orlais and what's the empress's court?perhaps it will appear in
DA2?

could any one answer them? Thank you very much.

Might want to fix your format. o_o

When the game ends, you get to stay in your camp with the party you ended with, and you can only play DLC. The only way to play more is to start another playthrough.

Orlais is to the west of Ferelden. It's where Leliana is from, the country that Loghain saved Ferelden from before the game. It will not be in Awakening, which is supposedly set in Howe's arldom (adaramanthine or something?), sort of near Redcliffe. The Empress' court is just that: the court of the empress of Orlais.

If you notice.....when you go back to camp after completing the game it says something to the effect of 'additional adventures that take place before the Landsmeet/epic ending'

You should really try playing again but with a different origin or even with a female... There are so many many ways of playing this game... It would def be worth it especially if you rp each origin, each story...

As far as after the game n u load n find yourself bk at camp, thats for like the DLC's n it's kinda before the final battle but everything is closed off except the DLC's...

Morrigan is another thing... As far as if n when Morrigan ever shows up again well that will be Biowares choice but Morrigan does have a story somewhere in the future dependin on what your choices are...

You know that you can create a new character without erasing the old one, right? It will still be there, untouched for you to use in Awakening. There's nothing stopping you from playing agin.

Can you use your PC in Awakening, even though he is sacrificed in the OC?

What is DLC?

I don't believe an answer to that question has been confirmed although there has been much speculation on it.

i dont think they will resurrect your character if you made the ultimate sacrifice. what you can do is find a different ending using an archival save if you wish to import that character into awakening. otherwise you will start as a new warden when the expansion comes out.

i'd cry if i can't use my character in Awakening, but it would be more realistic as i did sacrifice myself.

The DLC are The Stone Prisoner, The Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar - they are all downloadable content.

Yes it has been confirmed that you can use a saved game with the sacrifice ending. I could give you the link, but it's on my laptop not my desktop. So just take my word for it. Ferret confirmed it. In that case, Awakening will use all your saved game data (who is king, etc) but you will play the Orlesian Grey Warden.

Edit: At least I think it was Ferret. But without access to my laptop, and with search down, I just can't check.

i wonder how corny the reason for bringing back a dead character will be then.

They don't bring the character back. They stay dead. All your choices (who is king/queen etc) are kept and ported over, or that's what the word is, and you now play as the new Orlesian Grey Warden.

so you're saying that i can't play my dead character in Awakening ,instead a new Orlesian Grey Warden?do i need to start from 1Lv or it's the same level as my main character? Can i customize this new Warden?
Here's the biggest problem.because my main character died,my party members had all gone.but when i resume ,they all appear at the camp.isn't that weird?

No, it's not weird. As others have said, the epilogue save is set before the final battle so the archdemon is still alive none of your party members have taken off, and your character isn't dead yet. All the stuff from the epilogue hasn't happened yet as far as the epilogue save is concerned. This happens so that you can play the DLC with a character who has completed the game without having to start all over from the beginning.

Thank you, Susan. I intend to play the game many times but I never will sleep with Morrigan or ask Alistair to do it. I wondered if Bioware was trying to force this on me if I wanted to transport my PC. I disliked this idea intensely. This loveless sex would be distasteful to many people. I feel better now. The option to sacrifice myself is OK, but players being forced to follow this plot line in order to carry their characters over to the Awakening -- unacceptable.

I'm not crazy about the dead reappearing and trying to explain that either. But I'm sorry Bioware made such a thing as this so crucial.

Thanks for your help.

If your PC died killing the archdemon you cant play your original PC your have to play as a Orlesian Warden. The only thing that will trasfere over is the decisions your PC made before they died.

The only way you can continue to play you PC is if you did the ritual with Morrigan and kept your PC and Alistair alive. They arent going to bring your dead PC back to life for Awakening

As far as I know, you don't have to sleep with Morrigan or Alistair to survive the final battle. Alistair broke up with my city elf when he was made king, but he said he is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of Ferelden like a true king. So, technically I wasn't in a relationship with him at the time when he sacrificed himself.

Or you could just recruit Loghain and have him sacrifice himself without having to have sex with anybody?

OK, is it possible for my PC to survive the final battle without anybody being forced to have sex with anybody?

If the answer is 'no', this was a foolishness on the part of Bioware. I asked someone who had played DAO quite a bit about the sexual content, giving that as my reason for not wanting to buy the game, and he said you did not have to participate in the sexual content to the extent of 'having sex' ; you could draw the line in your conversations. Just like, in a more complex way, not asking for the key to the upper room at the Moonstone Mask in Neverwinter Nights.

That made sense, so I bought it. Now this.

Of course you can survive it but then someone else has to be sacrificed.
