And I must say: Mass Effect 2 is amazing, and that's an understatement!
I spent almost all of my free time (had to eat....stupid organs) in the past few days playing ME2. I was just so involved and immersed in the universe, I have never been so into a game before. The graphics were stunning, the voice acting was amazing as usual, and the gameplay was very nice and fun, too. I played all the little 'anomaly missions' on the planets, did all missions, and even mined most planets. In the end I played for 29 hours my first playthrough. I was a paragon Shep with a tiny bit of renegade on the side. My next playthrough I'll go in on insanity, be more renegade than paragon, neglect the loyalty missions, and neglect ship ugrades, just to see how that affects my experience.
I'm greatly looking forward to any DLC this game has to offer in the future, and I'm hoping for an expansion at some point, or at least some big DLC.
So I just beat the game...

I did the same thing.. Aside from having to work a couple days, I picked it up shortly after 10am on Tuesday and pretty much spent every waking moment playing it. Ended on about 50 hours played early this morning, and I never really stayed on a set morality path. I was primarily renegade but I was mostly half-and-half. I just chose my own personal feelings for each scenario and reacted accordingly. Innocent person in danger? I'll save them, even if I have to go out of my way. Merc thug being cocky and threatening me or others? I have no problem gunning him down, etc.
Just started up a new play on a fresh Sentinel for an Insanity play. Going Paragon all the way, since I've always enjoyed being a nice person
Plus, being a mixed paragon/renegade before, I missed out on some of the more drastic morality choices, being too low to pick either options. After that I believe it will be a renegade play with maybe an Infiltrator.. not completely sure yet.
Overall, absolutely amazing game. I was seriously speechless for a while after finishing it. I've never been so invested emotionally, and this is certainly the best game I have ever played. It really sets a new standard for what a game can be. The BioWare team has every ounce of my respect; they really came through and not only lived up to the hype, but completely surpassed it. I wish I could personally thank each person who was a part of making this game what it is, but hey.. Maybe some of them will read this post

I just did the same.
Easily the most cinematic gaming experience that I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Absolutely stunning. It was like playing around in a 30 hour+ movie. This game will likely stand as a milestone in gaming. Truly epic.
What are you trying to do Bioware? Make all other developers obsolete? I mean, Dragon Age was good...but this was just insane. Never been more immersed in a game, and i've played hundreds all the way through. All I can say is "thank you".
Gotta go back and make myself a ME1 save so I can import it into the game. I'm looking forward to seeing what effect it has; as they took the crappiest of the endings to carry over for those who didnt import.
