I have to ask and make sure this didn't just happen to me...

So I go to Ilium to go get more peoples for my team and I run into Conrad terrorizing a bar. Sorry, wrong choice of words; I ment he was being a dick. I was nice to him in ME1 and here he is making an ass out of himself, says I put a gun in his face.

Is this suposed to happen or is the this a fail on the developers part? Is he all nice and friendly bounding through a field of flowers if I treated him like crap instead?

Just need some clarification here.

It happens for everyone. There are a dozen threads about it. It makes no difference to the game, though.

Yea it was kinda weird since my import game I had I was nice to him etc...

I charmed him and apparently, talking him to go to his family means I put a gun to his face. On my Renegade profile, he was dead and still apparently he showed up.



Conrad Verner has issues.

Yeah he's all acting like a badass while wearing a fake suit of armor and carrying no weapons. Its like he not only learned nothing, but he had a mental decrease.

Yeah, i asked about it since i was a dick to him in ME1 and he died and now came bak to life. And the consensus in the thread was that BioWare should make it a running joke, he always dies but comes back, like Kenny

I think I can agree with that.

The ending of Mass Effect 3:



Shepard activates an ancient artifact hidden under a planet to blow up that half of the galaxy in an effort to kill the reapers (Renegade), but after activating it he falls down and starts falling into an endless pit.



The entire squad and crew scream out for Shepard as he falls down, Shepard believes he's going to die for a second time and cries out only to feel a tugging motion at his neck. He gazes up at looks to see the face of Conrad Verner.



"HEY COMMANDER, THIS IS HOW A GUN IN YOUR FACE FEELS LIKE" before pulling out a pistol into your face, Shepard looks him at him awkwardly and decides to hit him in a last ditch effort to die with some dignity.

With Conrad even as a paragon there is only one solution to make sure he gets the message.



Shooting him in the foot is VERY satisfying and funny.

I'm assuming Conrad saying I stuck a gun in his face when I was actually nice to him in the first game is a glitch. Have to say, i'm a little dissapointed; it was one of the choices Bioware hyped up quite a bit, so it really broke the immersion for me when the game ignored my previous choces.

Hope it gets patched soon.

oh ***** I thought it sounded odd since I convinced him to go back to his family... If Bioware fixes this.. will I be able to do my real quest? even though Ive met and done the other one already...? I mean. it seems a little silly that I got the badass conrad quest and that to get the other one Id have to restart, from my ME1 char mind, just to do the right verner quest for ME3...
