For games I love as much as Mass Effect, I tend to be very judgmental of sequels. As great as a game is, it's just not enough if i can't get more out of it than its predecessor. I'm very happy that I can officially say that, even having seen it before, even having done it all, my second time playing through Mass Effect 2 still put me in awe at at all the right moments. Bioware truly has outdone itself, and as a result I can keep myself satisfied with their product until they outdo themselves again with Mass Effect 3. Thank you for one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life, and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.
Thank You

You're welcome.
PS: The ending wasn't as emotional as the Saren suicide ending in ME1 though. Nowhere near it. But it still gave me shivers now and then.

well i think the ending of ME2 is better, but I suppose you can look beyond Saren's surface of "Typical Evil Villain" and see the "Tragic Villain."
Still don't think it's quite as grand-scale as infiltrating the enemy's headquarters without knowing if you'll live, or if your team will make it out alive with you if you do, facing impossible odds that keep becoming more impossible, and finally facing probably the greatest evil in the Mass Effect universe: the very origin of the Reapers. Idk, talking Saren into shooting himself just doesn't really seem like such a big deal compared to that but that's just my opinion

My favorite thing about this game compared to the last was that you really cared about keeping the squad alive at the end. In ME1, there were a few decisions, but they weren't so complex. In ME2, I did everything possible to try and help the crew live, and everytime something dangerous happened at the end (hull breach, crash landing, getting shot at by those orb things, especially the end when one of your team members was about to fall off the platform), I held my breath and was paralyzed for a second. I didn't want anyone to die. That's impressive that they could create such deep characters.

Same here... I was on the edge of my seat at each cut scene. And everytime I chose a specialist and a team leader I was like "please let this choice be right."
I used Jack to make the Biotic Barrier and when she started to struggle and stumble at the end of it I was like "No! Hold on Jack! Just a little longer!"

yeah Saren didn't really have the same character depth as your teammates in this one. therefore wasn't as emotionally attached. makes sense, since they only gave him so little dialogue compared to of any of your teammates. Still he was a great villain. i remember he was ranked pretty close to Sephiroth at #1 in a "Top 10 Video Game Villains of all Time" I read a while back

I liked the ending. The fact knowing that you could die if you make the wrong made me sit on the side of my chair until I beat it. And to this playthrough I havent saved every single member. But thats about to change.

favorite part about this game is its replay value. I mean, I went through and completed 100% of everything my first time through. Did it again my second time through choosing different options I did everything, and yet I didn't. There's always more to do and you simply can't get the whole experience one or two times around. There's always more options to explore.
