1-Ammo is now required.
2-Most Biotics now can be stopped by barrier/shield/armor.
3-Biotics now have a universal cooldown.
4-There are some Renegade/Paragon points that are madatory to get.
5-Helmets on DLC armors do not come off during cut scenes.
6-There is some promotional DLC content that the majority can never enjoy palying.
7-Bioware will not release the console command instructions.
8-Given that the Reaper fleet is all one shape the main plot doesn't make sense.
9-There are no homosexual relationships.
10-Conrad acts as if you were a Renegade in ME1 even if you wern't.
I love bioware and I'll contine to support them, but these items together make this game unwieldy.
10 gripes, add yours.

Liara's personality changed and she is distant even though I romanced her in the first game.

really only one. and i hope they can show it in Mass Effect 3, and that is Tali's face.
I figured if Tali is a romance option (which she is my favorite female character in the game) that they'd let us see her face.
I like the tease, but i still hope they do.
ahh well... stay true to her in the big finale.

1. The fact that people complain about things that do not detract from the game in any way, and even go so far as to make detailed lists of them.
That is all.
That is all.

2. The long, long seemingly endless loading screen time

As per Chartis' gripes
2 - And my tech doesn't go through barriers, it's pretty evenly developed
5 - That's the point of 'promotional' stuff
7 - Their prerogative, certainly not required
8 - There have been numerous discussions about this that make sense
My 1 complaint - lack of armor/weapon/skill customization, it's good, but it could be so much deeper.

UI and hotkey handling on the PC version feels like 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Definitely not the best console -> PC port I've seen.
Edit:
And exactly where is that your problem? They're always about giving us more choice, and yet they take that choice from us. It's not that every NPC should be a LI... but at least ONE would be great.

Honestly other then the fact that you dont take the helmets off during conversations on world that have air I dont have any complaints about this game. They did a great job and it will keep me playing repeatedly just to see all the different things that will happen.
Tali for the win.

AI is bad,There is no ammo,wt*.Heat sinks so your gun don't overheat. Not a complicated concept. Not Ammo.
DLC armor does suck for lack of anything . Other dlc's are up to you to get your hands on.
Reaper ships are based of the species their using at the time...makes sense to me...
Conard was pointless.I agree.
I don't care either way about same sex...

My goons dies all the time (on insanity) because they keep trying to shot from cover even when they have 1% life. The fights would be 5 times easier if they just stay in cover and recover.

I certainly have no where near 10 gripes but heres mine:
1. The liara love interest. We first see her making threats in her office then she yells Shepard and they share a quick kiss (did they actually kiss? The camera was kinda weird on that part). But then no mention of any romantic connection at all. Liara was a horrible character in this game.
2. I don't like the scanning system but really, its not a big deal to me.
3. Tali's romance scene wasn't long enough. I don't care that they didn't show her face, I kind of like the mystery. I can't comment on the other romances but in this game they feel so played down compared to the first Mass Effect. I didn't like that it cut out as soon as Tali pounced on Shepard and went straight to the suicide mission cutscene. I liked in the first where they talked afterwards. I don't know, I just expected more.
Edit: Something I forgot to add to the Liara love interest. I had no problem what-so-ever "cheating" on her with Ms Vas Normandy. I hope there is some kind of tension or whatnot between Liara and Tali in the third game. Same with other romances if you cheated.

My only complaints...
1. tiny text
2. apparantly no helmet comes off during cut scenes, but it's needed for combat... I want to see my Shep's face too!
5. too much of a good thing... so much texture and detail in the background (which isn't really a complaint) but I can't read half the stuff that comes up on the HUD

I doin't think it's been mentioned...but:
-- On the galaxy exploration screen, the captions for different star clusters would cover up other star clusters so you can barely see that they are there.

True, but here is the thing.. even without the Heat-sinks, weapons should still be able to fire (which they don't) and just overheat like ME1 (which they don't). So, in a sence, there is still ammo.. which is a step backwords.

Telling a man to go back to his wife and be docile does not automatically ensure that he'll be a great person in two years. Especially after your hero who told you to do so died two years ago, thus betraying his trust in your wisdom.

Biotics should have REDUCED but not eliminated effects on enemies with barries/armor etc. No point in having lift + throw if they die as soon as you lift them.

My biggest and only gripe with this game: The "following" on forums who like to act important with crazy lists and useless whines.
Kinda miss the times where we just bought our games and enjoyed what we got, not cry over everything

I'll start by saying what I think they did right. This is a really negative thread, and it seems as though these minor issues overshadow how great the game is...which is not true. I feel the game is a major improvement over the last one. The combat system is fun, challenging and satisfying. The atmosphere and dialogue are all excellent. They almost make you feel like you are a member of the squad yourself. The loyalty-gaining quests are incredibly powerful. Even if you find you don't like a particular character...those quests make you empathize with them. The way you explore the galaxy as well is much improved as well. It actually feels like you are exploring and not just clicking through the UI to get to the next mission. The way you equip weapons ahead of time, the research system, the Normandy upgrades, all excellent. I do have a couple complaints though. I feel as though the main quest line was too short. Honestly, if you recruit every party member and gain their loyalty...that is almost all of the game right there. You don't get much time to bond with them or learn their personalities. I even did all the side quests I could find. I bought all the star charts, have a 100% in every cluster, have every upgrade (even the ones that I don't use), and after everything...I managed to beat the game in just under 40 hours. 40 hours just isn't a very good amount of time to get to know 8 new characters (and see the changes in all of the old ones). I feel the game would benefit drastically if it had just a bit more content. I'm not saying to cram every planet with a side quest, I actually thought the consistency of side quests/cluster was pretty good. Perhaps if they added a few clusters from the first game? Feros, Noveria maybe? I have a few minor complaints with the combat system, but it is a lot of fun. In the end, that is all that matters. Even so though, I liked the personalization of weapons in the first game. In this game, you can't really do that...and there aren't too many different weapons to chose from to remedy it. Maybe if they added two more guns into each class, it would be better. Some stats wouldn't hurt, either. There's more, but no one reads this stuff anyway, so I'm just gonna end it now.
