The second is that the main quest seems kind of not there. There's about three missions that don't involve recruiting, and none of them really fill up all that much time. This, again, is a pretty minor point, as the recruiting and loyalty missions are really the star of the show here, and the plot is just to get us to ME3, but I still would have prefered some beefier main quest missions. I really hope that the squad from this game is a major part of ME3 considering how much emphasis the game places on them.
I'm sure there are other complaints I have, but they're so minor that I can't even remember them right now, so whatever.

The fact that you care enough to play the game and post on its official forums is evidentiary that you are lying. If I hate something I do not log on to its website and purchase its content. I stay away. You should too.
No, that actually proves that people like the game enough to have ideas for it, whether positive or negative.
I sold back DAO a week after buying it. Know what I didn't do? I didn't go post on the forums there about how much I "hate" the game or what was wrong with it. It wasn't my thing, I didn't like anything about it, so I got rid of it. No big deal. Taking the time to create a username, start a thread, etc, shows much more support.

I agree you have decent arguments. But that fact that you are willing to sarcasticlally attack someone who does not share nearly as many gripes disproves your maturity.
I just fired that off cause I see so many people saying "EVERYONE STOP SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS". Sorry if I was rude, it's just people have a right to air their thoughts, I took your post as self-righteous.

Hm...two main things. The first is that nobody seems to really care that you're back. At most, you'll get a line or two of somewhat unenthusiastic dialoge about how they thought you were dead. I mean, I get that they've had two years to move on or whatever, but I think that if I saw a friend come back from the grave I'd be a little more happy or excited. These guys just act like I was on vacation for two weeks. Pretty minor point, but it still gets to me.
Yeah I thought that too actually. Especially with Anderson and Garrus. "hey man" "oh hey Shepard."

3 and 5 annoy me the most. and also the loyalty system. it didn't matter that mordin was loyal, and a salarian infiltrator and genius, he still died when i picked him as a specialist.
Did you read the description next to his character when you picked him for the job?
It basically specifically says "Mordin is a biologist. Not a tech expert."
2. In game one, while you were making decisions, your squad
would cut in and say things like "you're not actually going to let this
guy live, are you?" quite often. Game two: only happens on their
loyalty missions, and very sporadically otherwise.
Ehh... it's about the same, it's just not as consistently spread out through out the game. They don't seem to talk at all during the side missions, though. Which is sort of weird. But then they didn't really in the original game much either. I can only think of a few examples where they did.
8. Lack of armor variety
I hope you mean for your squad... because there is no end to the armor customization for Shepard. At least visually. Though more armor pieces would have been nice.
Okay... mine...
1) The Citadel. This is the place where your council choice and pretty much any extensive nostalgia from ME1 should come in, and it kinda doesn't. You can meet the council again, but only once. Hearing that jerk Turian only call me insane once... it's just... just too little for one game. He must criticize my every action.
Turian Councillor: Do you enjoy recruiting psychotic Salarian scientists, commander? He put dead mercenary bodies in front of his clinic!!
And then at the end...
Turian Councillor: You blew up the Collector base from beyond the Omega-4 relay, commander. Do you ENJOY denying Cerberus Reaper technology, commander?
And then of course if you did give it to Ceberus...
Turian Councillor: Do you enjoy giving our most hated enemies such powerful tech, Commander?!!
Why so many people kill the council and deny themselves comedy gold I'll never know. Also, the lack of Anderson doing anything of importance aside from a couple of conversations was disappointing.
2) The Collectors were kind of underdeveloped. The last scene with Shepard running away from the swarm of bugs and Harbinger mocking him was really effective, but otherwise they just didn't really show up enough, and there should have been a scene where Shepard interacted with the Collector Leader... and there just wasn't one really. Some of the best scenes in the original game were Shepard interacting with Saren. Like when Saren is put on trial, and his hologram just floats above Shepard looking down at him with contempt.
I thought the twist with them being Protheans was really cool and really awesome, but yeah, just not enough actual interaction with them. I'm not looking for Saren 2.0 here or anything, but still. There wasn't even a scene where it dawned on Shepard that Harbinger was a Reaper. Having said that I loved the Collector Leader's death. How he just sort of ****s his head to the side and look confused or lost. Just like "oh... well then. That's that, I suppose."
3) Uh... lack of interaction between party members was kinda lame. All we got was conflict between Subject Zero and Miranda which was dumb (it wasn't even amusing...), and then the friendship between Miranda and Jacob was cool... but overall, there just wasn't a whole lot to it. And I wish they'd done what DAO did and had hot-spots where characters would talk to eachother. I mean honestly, if a game like DAO that DOESN'T focus on it's party members can have interactions between party members then a game like ME2 that does, definitely should. I mean it doesn't have to be like ME where they talk about themselves and their races, just have them bicker. Again, like DAO.Or make observations about the plot.
4) Did I mention how little the council and Anderson were in the game? Yes? Well, okay then.
5) The lack of Wrex, Liara and Kaidan/Ashley was really lame. And I don't even like Ashley or Kaidan. Liara in particular, I thought could have used a personal mission along the lines of the squadmates. Even if she herself never becomes one. I mean, come on, I would have given up an N7 mission for that.
6) Lack of weapons and alternative costumes. The lack of loot or an inventory didn't bug me AT ALL. I thought this system was much more intuitive and interesting. Way easier to manage. I just thought they'd use it a bit more. So few options for guns was kinda limiting and dull. On the other hand, I'd want all the weapon choices to be more diverse and interesting at the same time, though, so maybe this was for the best. Certainly don't miss loot, though... not at all. As for armor... meh. I think the characters look way better without ugly armor. Liara and Kaidan look really weird in Phoenix armor. And managing their armor doesn't really appeal to me personally. Still, I really liked most of the alternative outfits for the characters and could have used some more.
7) The suicide mission was a little short, I kinda wish there'd been more steps to it. Also kinda wish we'd actually confronted Harbinger. But I suppose they're saving that for ME3.
8) The lack of denoument at the end. I really enjoyed the ending, but I felt they could have expanded upon it more. Again, lack of council and Anderson here. We should have gone back and told them what we'd done. Perhaps, if Paragon, been reinducted into the Spectre order. But that again, may be something they're saving for ME3.
And that's all.

4-There are some Renegade/Paragon points that are madatory to get.
Strange that you get Renegade points and Paragon points from the same answer.
5-Helmets on DLC armors do not come off during cut scenes.
MOST ANNOYING!!
9-There are no homosexual relationships.
Truly disappointing, I really feel that Bioware missed an opportunity to add a depth to the character, a way to personalize the experience. I have always felt that this is an issue that can be best resolved by allowing the PC, by a few chat options to romance ANY character, from Gabby to Miranda. Meet certain conditions, such as the loyalty quests for the squaddies, or getting them what they want like foodstuffs for the cook, brandy for the Doc, and the couplings for Gabby. Once the player has done this or something similar the dialog option for "Express Romantic Interest" should open up. It is only after the player selects this dialog option while in a conversation with thier romance pick will the romance dialog begin, this way it does not interfere with general conversation, and the PC does not have to feel pursued. This way it is completely optional as to who the player chooses to romance so if the thought of bumping penises with Jacob bothers you, you have the option to romance someone more to your liking. While i will agree that it is Bioware's story after 5 to 6 hours it is now MY story. The only choice is to remove romances totally, which would do more harm than good, the serious attraction for me with ME,ME2,DAO was that the players choices effected the game, i could become eomtionally attached to my character, and anything that fosters the player and character bond is what it is all about. The very fact that i could play DAO 9 times and have a different experience each time is the holy grail of gaming, and anything that opens up the game to this possibility should be investigated, not dismissed as too uncomfortable, if it is an option that is avaliable determined by player choice then there is NO discomfort. My point is that ME and ME2 lack that depth that DAO has, that ability to make a player go again for no other reason than to see "what if".
My own not really a complaint, more an observation.
Having the crew around the ship is a nice touch but i would like to see more interaction avaliable, perhaps a rec room where off duty crew hang out. The ability to shoot darts or pool with any crew member, and this should effect thier happiness and loyalty. Sitting down at the same table as your subordinates, eating the same food as them, conversing with them over a meal i know from personal experience how this boosts moral. Shore leave for the crew where you pull into port and tell the crew we will be here for 2 days and they can disembark. Walking into Afterlife and seeing half your engineering section getting hammered at a table, you sit down buy a round, kind of thing. I know alot of folks are not into the details for me i like the details, and when they are missed, as in how come the showers do not work, clothing choices, i really liked the gifts idea from DAO and maybe this could be incorporated into ME3. Gifts of clothing, booze, new weapons and armor, i mean if your crew steps off the boat wearing the BEST armor, shooting the BEST weaponry this should not only make them more combat effective but also inspire them as well with more loyalty. I thought it kind of weird that i had to run all over the ship to talk to the crew instead i should have been able to summon them to my quarters for some conversations over drinks or thier favorite meal. For those folks who are not as detailed oriented as i might be it could be a setting detailed interactions Low, Meduim, High where low means you can pretty much ignore it and high means you can not and still maintain a loyal happy crew.
ME and ME2 are great games but DAO was better by a long shot because it was able to draw me deeper into my characters soul, when my DAO character cried i cried, , when they died i died, a little, that is what ME2 is lacking.
