When ever I load my game and start it up I get an error that says that my disk is dirty. The disk is brand new and is clean. I have tried many things like installing the disk and such and it still does not work.

I also have this problem, however I received my brand new disk two with two huge scratches. . . I'm not very thrilled after pre-ordering Mass Effect 2 CE to pay extra money and wait 4-5 weeks to get a new one that might work.

I actually got it to work. when it says disk 2 is bad install disk one and play. once you have to put in disk 1 at the end delete the data and it will work.

i had load screen freezes, then took the game back. then i installed both disks and that fixed it. disk one is fine. disk 2 gives me the dirty disk error every time at one point now, and my save file is stuck there because i'm not on the normandy. such a great game to be mired by this problem. i'm going to take the game back again today and see if i can get a better disk 2. i'm also going to delete the installs from the old disks and install the new ones.
