Common usage of the term psychopath as opposed to formal definition?NICKjnp wrote...
The thing is... she isn't a sociopath or a psychopath. She does have feelings and morals... she just doesn't care. She can tell the diference between right and wrong.Jackal904 wrote...
Well at least we agree on something. They probably labeled her as a psychopath because it sounds a lot more interesting than sociopath.smudboy wrote...
I don't get how she's labeled as a psychopath, but then goes on a quest to discover herself, then starts crying. I could buy some kind of bipolar disorder along with social dysfunction, but not psychopathy. Just doesn't fit. Trying to act tough doesn't make one a psychopath.

Not that I don't agree with you (at least completely). I dare say Samara is both attracted to and impressed by a paragon Shep because Shep has been believably noble naturally. I don't doubt Samara really is impressed in a heartfelt way with that, but I also agree that she whould not necessarily feel the need to "jump his/her bones" because of it.Siansonea II wrote...
I'm happy that Samara doesn't want Shepard's biznazz. Why would a thousand-year-old asari want to get horizontal with some human pup? I just don't see it. Shepard's not all that.

This human "pup" is Commander goddamn Shepard. And Commander goddamn Shepard saved the galaxy, and killed a reaper.

The citadel news thing mentions that Samara is my romance after that scene.
Yeah I think she got cut because of that. But they say it whenever you have a potential LI in your party, even if you have not pursued a relationship with them. I got bored and tested it, that's how I know.

I think solving her 400 year old crusade would do it. But Shepard really needs more one on one time with Ms. Warrior Monk. This is not some impulsive office romance. Shepard and Samara are pretty much the pinnacle of Paragon, both drawn to impossible missions. Where else in the universe are such people going to find others like that?JohnnyBeGood2 wrote...

ShepxSamara has alot of potential and would be amazing for samara's character. She feels terrible that all of her children are Ardat-Yakshi (the only ones in existence apparently) because she chose to mate with a fellow asari. Shepard could give her the chance to have one child that doesn't kill through mating and a chance to continue her line. and She and shepard do share very strong moral connection (providing you play paragon because if you don't she shoots you down with the Normandy's upgraded guns and say's she's going to kill you after you get back form the collector base if you're pure renegade) and seem to be perfect for each other and it would be an interesting scene in ME3 (should Liara be your ME1 romance) when She sees you with a Matiarch (that's possibly her father, since Benezia never metioned her mates name to Liara, so it'd be lulz worthy)
We don't know if that is how Ardat-Yakshi are made. All we know is that Samara's children are Ardat-Yakshi. Asari don't take genetic material from the "father". Samara is a pureblood so the disorder is present in her. If she has children, with asari or non-asari, then they could very well be Ardat-Yakshi.

Actually it's said by the Asari by where shiala is waiting that asari pairings lead to ardat-yakshi whcich is probably why there's sterotypes for purebloods. and Yes asari take genetic material from the fathers because the other pair of asari across from Shiala(discussing goods from the terminus systems) begin talkig abot pure blodos, because of of them is and the other's father was a salarian.

But then you get the asari from the gift shop on Illium who discusses what it means to have children with a krogan, saying they don't get genetic material from the father, they just use the father's genetic material to randomize their own DNA. Then Matriarch Aethyta seems to have some doubt that she has much resemblance to her own krogan father other than his mouth, figuratively speaking.ADLegend21 wrote...
