Is there any way you can throw us PC users a bone and give us the option to bind a key to our skill upgrade screen?

It's not much but it's something that will make the game vastly more enjoyable.

Also, for Mass Effect 3, just use Dragon Age's inventory and item setup.

Thanks.

Edit:
Also, a key for the journal would be swell.

Nice!

I'd also prefer J for Journal. :)

If you're referring to the blank post, I accidentally hit enter outside the text box.

1. Increased scanner speed. Like a 500% increase in speed - BEFORE you upgrade it.

2. Fix the sound cutting out bug. The sound cut out on me every time in the same place in my first game making me have to rely on subtitles to understanbd what was going on.

Yup.

Why they got rid of the shortcuts for inventory/journal/codex is beyond me. It's so intuitive to have those shortcuts there!

The whole game for me seems a lot slower than ME1, due to the lack of shortcuts (let's press escape then find what I want to access), no use of the scroll wheel in anything it seems, weird movement responsiveness issues (not sure if that's just me, but when I press the button I'd like Shepard to move, not have to hold it down for a while before he/she decides to move).

It just seems to me that they left out a whole load out of small (but REALLY useful) things when making ME2. The game is too different from ME1 for my liking, and unnecessarily so in my opinion (why change a good thing?).

Oh, I also HATE the new "Interact/Cover" button. I just want to keep on using E to interact, and walk up to things to cover behind them. Why can't I crouch anymore either?

This game could have been perfect, but it just seems a bit hap-hazard to me at the moment.

Grrrr. :(

It's pretty clear this was developed with console gamers in mind and it's understandable considering that's where the bulk of their sales come from BUT what works for them will not work for PC gamers and if they expect the PC community to have faith in their next effort, they better at least fix the little things that we all know won't take more than a couple hours for a programmer to implement.

BioWare, don't pull an Infinity Ward.

I believe the game calls it FTL mouse control.

Does anyone else experience as a femshep being referred to as a he? When I was on Omega the announcements referred my femshep as male, and when I was at the citadel the lady at the front office called me a sir.

Sir is a general military term. Higher ranked female officers are still called "sir".

I refuse to play as chicks, so I haven't had the pleasure of being referred to as the wrong gender.

Fix the mouse tracking in the character customisation screen. At the moment, if you click on the left arrow on one of the sliders (for example change eye colour), it detects the edit category underneath - as if you have clicked on something like "mouth" or "jaw". You have to use the slider bars rather than clicking through the various options.

Yes - key binds for things like Codex and Journal.

I believe you can fix that by running it Windowed (No Border) but I may be wrong.

Full usage for scrolling with the mousewheel and double-clicking in the menus.

We are on the PC after all! ;)

Why not take full advantage of the wonderful mouse and keyboard? :)

Get rid of those damn "hints" at the bottom of the screen. Or at least let us toggle them.

I'd also like to be able to turn off the achievement notifications unless there is a way and I missed it. They are obnoxious.

-Helmet toggle: possible for both platforms
-Hint turn-off
-More sensitivity settings
-PC List:
---Weapon hotkeys
---Menu hotkeys
---Mouse-wheel functionality

All things that don't really require much "fixing", rather that would make for a bit of a smoother experience.

Turn of hints and achievements please.

More graphics options like a texture and particle count setting for older pcs (like mine so I dont have to play in 800x 600 res)

I second the notion of general UI improvements for the PC. Seriously -- no double click, no mouse wheel? If the game wasn't released simultaneously for both the PC and console, I'd call it the laziest port ever.

90% of this stuff would be very easy to fix. I'm hoping BioWare cares enough to read this stuff and take these recommendations to heart.

I'd like:

Universal Ammo Pool

Way to skip cut scenes and go straight to dialog choices

Way to skip game intro and go straight to gameplay

Fornax pinup for Shepard's cabin

I would like Mass Effect 2 to play normal on single core.

Helmets. Being able to tweak your imported Shep rather than taking what you had or starting over from defaults.
