Why can't I play offline using the DLC?

Okay this is absurd already. Why am I required to be connected to the internet just to play the game and use the DLC? Why can't it be activated once and stop nagging me to get online just to verify that I own the blasted game. Sh!t!

Once you verified you sould be able t log out...just like with DA...

Next time they could go with starforce, securom or a 3 time only install...

I did but it always says that its unauthorized whenever I am disconnected from the internet.
