So, I talked Ish out of doing his "thing."  The quest is still in my quest log although Ish is no longer present.  It tells me to get the second package from Eternity Lounge (which I already did).

Same here. Got both packages, went to Ish, convinced him to give up the idea, quest still active in the journal.

Yeah a few people are complaining about this (including me). It shows that i've delivered both packages to Ish, told him Aria would find out and he went on his way. Still highlighted bright orange instead of grey.

I had the Batarian kill him. I'll check tomorrow if it affected the outcome in my journal.

Still No Official Response. i.e. when will this bug be patched. Omega: Packages for Ish. The same has happened to me. I offered Ish the Paragon way out to complete the assignment. Within the Journal the Assignment is still in 'Orange'. I picked up one package.
