 Just finished the final mission, great btw!  But I lost Mordin, only one! Can't believe it, I had all my guys upgraded as well as the ship, had Legion as 1st specialist and Samara as 2nd, Miranda and Garrus as teamleaders, anyone got an idea as to why he died? Wanna get that acheivement!

and NO! leave it as it is...makes the game more fun...who cares about stupid lil achievements...they are all dumb for this game anyways....wow...i scanned a planet and got a achievement....my cat could do that accidently standing on the keyboard....

moridan has a pretty high chance of death, unless you bring him with you or send him as the escort.

Was he loyal to you? And was everything about the Normandy upgraded?

If not then that may be why. I also made it a point to talk to everybody before the final mission, I am not sure if that kind of thing helps.

Just a question, what did his death look like?

Let him escort the crew back to the Normandy. He dies if you let him stay back and defend. Same thing happened to me; playing the game a second time through though so I'll get the achievement the next time around.

I actually didn't have Mordin do anything at all, and he survived somehow.

Just outta curiosity, whats the best choices for all team members surviving? My picks durings the Suicide Mission was Tali/Garrus, Jack/Zaheed & I sent Jacob to escort the crew back. In the end, I lost Zaheed & Moridan. They were all loyal & upgraded, so I'm guessing it has to do with character types, or something else I don't know.

I honestly dont know how they are making this up :S

I chose Garrus to lead BOTH fireteams, Samara for the biotic field, Jacob to return with the crew and Legion for the tunnel mission, and they all lived.

Maybe it has something to do with the stirring emotional speeches

Think about each character and what they do in their natural role.

The guys that have a reputation for tech for the pipe, if you don't have loyalty with Tali make her do it (because she's annoying and deserves to die), legion is another good choice here.



Garrus is a leader (as seen in his story) and makes good squad leader, as does Miranda. The asari and jack are both super powerful biotics for maintaining the field.



I heard rumours that if your teammates are down at the final boss when he dies then you can lose them too.

Yeah, not sure how Mordin died on you. I had all loyalty, used Legion and Garrus, then Samara and Miranda, and took Miranda and Legion with me. Everybody lived....I wonder if there is a probability calculator it uses rather than just meeting a certain set of criteria.

Re-did the mission, sent Mordin of the beginning, and everyone survived, good times.
