Have anyone tried to kill the High Dragon above Haven village that pretends to be recoranation of Andraste? I manage to get her to half health at lvl 9, is it possible or worth doing?

uhm.....like one of the first things listed at the top of the forum is not to put spoilers in your title....I would say that was a pretty big one....If I had not just discovered this on my own I would be pretty pissed

It's *possible* to kill the dragon, but she's designed as something you should really try to avoid as opposed to just head on it and try to take her on directly. Some people will no doubt want to do just that, but when your party members suggest that it'd be a bad idea they really do mean it. It's not a balanced fight.

Thanks for the reply David, I was wondering why I was getting my bum kicked so badly by her. So far the easy way to kill her is to bug her out by walking into the path that leads to abandond temple.. she just stays at the top of it and spits fire at closes person. So if u put fire protected tank up there with dedicated healer and mage/bow damage at the back she will die, but it will be a long and boring fight.



So no awesome loot/story after killing her?

Well, this game finnaly gives Dragons the repect and terrifying power they deserve. this ain't D&D.

Its called DRAGON AGE ORIGINS. A flea would read the game and and say dragons are in it. No spoilers in the title,

notice how the title has changed and now says [edit] the fact that there is a dragon in the game is not the spoiler...but way to jump all over that

You do get an achievement -- Its called Dragonslayer. All I can say is make sure you have pack space she drops some good stuff =P

I tried to be a tough guy at lvl 11 with me and Llei in the party only .. almost had her haha but she quickly ate me when my hp got too low. So i just loaded up the autosave -- grabbed morrigan and wynn and quickly dispatched this unpleasant dragon. She drops a dragonscale -- not to be confused with drakescale.. but ill leave the rest for yall to figure out

Woot good news, Dragon is dead! and wow you weren't kidding when u said it drops ALOT of loot. Great fight really enjoyed it.
