I think Kasumi(mentioned in a thread a little while ago w/ a screen from a debug console and assumed to be Miranda) may be the 12th member of the "Dirty Dozen" Shepard was recruiting. I know that was used to explain how they acted but I have a feeling that's not all it'll end up being. Zaeed is a fairly shallow character, very little actual content in how he acts, even after he's loyal. That leads me to believe that he was made after the game went gold, since otherwise they could've put a block on it so they could advertise him as DLC(ala Warden's Keep). If we look at the rest of the ship there's one more blocked off space, the Port Observation Deck. This may be where Kasumi would go if/when she's released.

We have seen a screen with her name along with the other squadmates you assemble(minus Jacob and Miranda) and it seems like it would make some sense to fill out that list completely. If she had no mention within the game I would merely place it as an issue on the part of the developers or a code name or something else but she was named on Illium in a news report.

It seems odd to have her mentioned in both a news report and then seen on a debug screen under a section with every other companion(including Zaeed). Just wanted to voice my opinion and maybe get some speculation going. So either way, assuming she's real then we've got this as our final squad(since there seems to be room enough to add another Dossier:

Miranda
Jacob
Jack(SuZe)
Grunt
Mordin
Garrus
Tali
Samara
Thane
Legion
Zaeed
Kasumi

This would be an interesting thing to see how they do it, but if she's as vanilla as Zaeed where I can't even talk to her then I wouldn't drop any serious cash on her, maybe 800 points tops.:police:

I wouldn't drop anything on another squadmate if they were like Zaeed. Talk about an afterthought that Bioware could have just skipped.

Well noticeing this it might be like the other DLC,free at the start probley, who knows, but its true on that blocking off the observation deck, and also if you look at your squad members, all the way to the right will be a open spot.

I think the game mentions her on the broadcast news reports over the PA system, but I can't remember if it's on Illium or the Citadel.

Yeah, the only interesting bit in his room was the trash compactor... it was addicting. Good thing he was free.

It may be free but I'm not sure how much they're allowed to give out through Cerberus Network.

I heard it on Illium but it's possibly on Citadel too since it just sounded like the generic "Galactic News" voice.

I heard Kasumi mentioned on Illium as well and I also hope she's deeper than Zaeed, from his trailer I thought he was gonna be a wicked character but... that's all there was really, was his trailer, they showed us everything in that tiny reveal... lame

Do you remember what was said about her? I might jump back on the game and go listen again, for some reason I thought the news report mentioned thievery but I may be wrong...

apparently she's a human thief, and there's a spot on the right side of the squadmate select screen after you download Zaeed as well, if she's free awesome, if she costs money, I would want to know that she had a recruit mission and had interactive conversations before buying her, Zaeed occasionally has interesting things to say, and i enjoy using his inferno grenades, but I don't think I'd want to pay much for him.

Zaeed's kinda like a washed-up rock star. Some cool stories if you want to listen to them, but no real interaction. But In his loyalty mission I thought the scene with the thermal clip was bad**** and cinematic. But over all, meh. Hope Kasumi's a better character.

I did notice that empty space on the right side of the squad selection screen, so I was tempted to think another character could be coming down the pipeline.

Yeah I remember part of the Kasumi broadcast. Something along the lines of... "Kasumi has yet again stolen another piece of ____ and is still on the loose" along those lines. Pretty much sounds like a ninja.

One thing that peeked my intreset of sorts was the fact that Samara was intrested in Knights and well as Samurai's, again another asian topic added into the game. Kasumi, a asian name of sorts, reports of her being a intergalatic theft and Samara's intreset in Samurai. Not to mention the only other place not open to us is the Port Observation deck.

Samara a crime fighting Justicar and Kasumi a intergalatic theft both on ether Observation decks, I smell some fighting going on.

I would've been pissed if I paid 15$ for Zaeed. 15$ ...!! That's almost 1/3rd what I paid for the game!

For some stupid scar facced **** merc -_- . He is also basically non existent in the cinematic videos and doesn't talk except for his nostaligc war stories...he reminds me of those people who make fake stories about being a veteran.

Love interests? They need a way so you can develope the LI's AFTEr you beat the game.

I pretty much did everything + avoided LI's in fear of ruining my relationship (For ME3).

But for the hell of it, I wanted to go try and not save..but to my disappointment...can't even get kelly to do her dance for me and they're all alive -_-.

Yeah I even tried to go for 1000 Samara at the end of the game, she shut me down with a "I'm a Justicar. Sorry!"
