So what actually transer to ME2 from a ME1 character and what are the bonuses?
BTW I mean the more tactical things not story outcomes.
Things like haveing a level 60 character,
or if money matters or anything else like that.
Im looking to find out what the bonus are and what triggers them.

Nothing?

I found out you start at level 5 if you were level 60 in ME1.

You get a large amount of money to start with if you were rich in ME1.

What else is there?

Help please.

import a level 60 and you get a bonus to paragon/renegade based on how far the bar is

money

resources if you completed the quest or if you beat me2 already

and story outcomes import

Man... I wanted to try a new class, or at least fix my HIDEOUS cheekbones... Don't see why there is no option to change that stuff in new game+

Though you can't change classes in New Game+/Import ME2 character, you can still alter the look of your character.  I also had the same problem with my character's cheekbones.  They're fixed now.

id just like to add that you get alot of the bonus's money/resources if you start a brand new character after finishing me2 the first time because aparently its based on your achievements.

you also still get your bonus squad power too.

after finishing my first play through i imported a diffrent me1 save and i got 350,000 credits and 60,000 of each resource and also the bonus squad power.

if you import a ME2 character to play through again you lose all bonuses granted by importing the ME1 character.

so its all for story pretty much-porting your me1 character

what i wish-wish there was way(in me1 atleast, probly feel the same about me2 when im done)

to NOT choose a extra talent or whatnot when starting a new character or game. What if I want a straight soilder with nothing extra-but cause I bet the game before with someone and got an achievemnt I HAVE to pick a power. I dont like that, wish there was a way to by pass that. I want each of my charaters to be strictly what class they choose, nothing more. Or atleast the option to not choose a power/talent.

so wait
if i import a me1 character, plathrough with the once, then start again with them,
i lose all the bonuses i got from them being a me 1 charater?
that sucks--unless the bonuses from me2 are just better...?

Well, if you import a ME 2 character you keep the heavy... weapons... that's about it to be honest. You don't get anything you wouldn't get starting a brand new game but the Heavy Weapons.

Yes and this was lame, i quit my second ply through with my ME2 import because I couldnt get enough charm or intimidate to gain all loyalties.
