I'm wondering how you could make adept be as good as other classes in higher difficulty settings..
Would AR be the best weapon unlock? Which bonus power should you take? Reave seems to be the most potent from what I tested.
Which partners do you use?
I switched to vanguard since Adept was feeble on Hardcore but I miss the heavier biotic way of playing.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Don't use reave imo....You already have warp, reave is redundant, and just makes you never use a skill you already have, and it does a tiny bit more damage. Get warp rounds, your going to be doing a lot of shooting anyway.
Get another person with warp in your party and max it fast, two aoe warps lets you cc entire rooms like ME1 by laying a singularity after it.
Playstyle will usually be spam warps across the room if their tightly packed and singularity or lift after to instantly kill 3 people, or just shoot and pull+push if their spread out.
Max biotic mastery and warp first, then a couple points in singularity, lift and warp rounds, and a single point in throw and shockwave.
