ok, so i'm on that mission where you have to go save that colony where ashley/kaiden is on and i have to activate those defense turrets.

There's two rushes of four husks that come running out which isn't hard to kill, but there's two scions that are a real pain in the ***. it takes just three shockwave things to kill me and usually if i'm hit by one, i'm hit by the other and then another while my character is knocked back by it. my teammates are usually dead within five seconds of encountering the scions and i don't feel like wasting all my medigel now because i know that huge collector geth thing is going to come after (God, i don't even want to think of fighting that thing right now..)

anyone find a cool way to get past this? i've gotten real close just by circling the perimeter over and over again and warp spamming the hell out of them. i've gotten close but there's got to be another way.
anyone have ideas?

Well, if you want to cheese it, theirs a couple pillars along the wall where you can just hide behind without using lean. Then you just shoot, the scions cant hit you.

Otherwise, well, just run and gun.   Hide behind full size barriers that cover your entire body, as opposed to the half sizes ones that the scions attack jumps over.

Well, one tactic I used, was to quickly run towards the left. There should be this platform on the far left with 2 husks on it, kill them, and take control of that area. It's basically a chokepoint with 2 entrances. Have one teammate on one side and another on the other side with you in the middle taking point. Scions can't get you and your teammates should weaken the husks enough for you to finish em off. That was my tactic, but I was a soldier at the time, not an adept.

If it doesn't work, you can just be a cheater like I was on my second playthrough and use a mod that gives you god mode. xP

Hope I helped, and good luck! Insanity on ME2 makes me wanna rip my hair out!

I'll be honest, I lowered the difficulty for this part... But you need high ground, and you need to make good use of your squadmates. Send them in to die if you must, or sick them both on one guy while you keep moving. I might try it on Insanity for the next play through, we'll see.

shockwave doenst travel through things. best way to handle them is the go to the left and go to the borad walk then take cover there cause your in a defence and overall position you are much harder to kill

That's what I did with my adept after getting slaughtered a few times. Then used the particle gun on the flying thing until it was out of ammo and ran around the tower while my team shot at it and the turrents took out the ship. Took pot shots at it with warp.
