Maybe I was too quick to judge with Jack, so I didn't do her loyalty mission. I thought I would want nothing to do with Mordin as a squad member when I started playing. Once I got to know him he made the game that much more hilarious. Great character. Excellent source of comedy relief.

Not now, working on collector data. Have ruled out artificially intelligent virus. Unless it's very intelligent, and toying with me... hmm... tests!
Mordin was hilarious.

For the girls I can't say, I haven't tried a ManShep yet. I love Tali, but I'm not sure I can see it as a romance because of how much she needs a father figure.

What's happens if you say "I want more" to Samara? I know she's old as hell but she's fiiiiine. I kind of wish she'd show a more emotional side and find some romantic feelings for someone else on the ship.

Miranda.
But I was so disappointed I couldn't romance Samara....you could feel the tension between her and Shepard, especially when they were about to kiss...*sigh*
Awesome! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wished to have a relationship with Samara.

I have always found "interactive" love affairs in games to be universally cringe-worthy and ridiculous.
Tali changes all of this.
Pursuing the Tali romance offers up a touching, original and well acted series of scenes between the two of you, the final love-scene is subtle and underplayed and I approve of Bioware's decision to leave Tali's face a mystery for now.
Tali was my favourite team-mate from the original and thus the relationship felt like a natural evolution of a friendship between two people, rather than a tacked on after-thought.
I thought her shyness was well acted and played in stark contrast to the usually aggressive sexual self-confidence often exhibited by female characters in games.
Finally, the fact that I felt a genuine affection for a video game character whose face I had never seen and whose circumstances lead to a rather original sexual tension through our inability to actually touch due to her suit, was rather remarkable.
Good stuff Bioware - though you had better not do anything terrible to her in the 3rd game - I would be gutted!

I would cry if they somehow screw that up

I also love the fact that she has neither the ludicrous cleavage of Samara, nor the spray-on suit of Miranda - her appeal comes from the voice and personality.

Knowing Bioware, they may gut you (us).
They killed off my best buddy Garrus even though I thought keeping him and Tali in my squad would keep them from harm. Even if I wasn't one of the Tali/Shep fans from the experience I had in the first game, I really liked the Tali LI in ME2. I'd be even more depressed if something goes wrong with her in the third.
Its bad enough that the one character I counted on to watch my back is gone...

But in all seriousness though, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy FTW. She was really well scripted and it was great that after her confidence in ME1, BioWare added a vulnerable side that reminds you that she is young and relatively fresh off her Pilgramige.
As a femshep though, I would have liked to see more involvement with Mess Chief Gardner...

Dude! How did you open that possibility?! And to get so close and then....denied. Did she say you were a good friend to you first and then that option opened? I might have got that 'cuz I was pursuing Miranda too. Or is there one much chance to reach where you were in that vid before the end game?

In actual gameplay, I found Garrus's renegade-cool guy to be the most interesting to explore.
