When Tali admits her feelings that she's long had for Shepard but says she never believed he could see past her helmet. Made me just want to hold her.

When Tali found her dead father AS WELL AS when my Shepard (female) gave her final defensive speech in favor for Tali...... can I say it? Will I say it? ...bah! Who cares anyway, YES, I cried, in both scenes, especially the first one (dead father's reaction).

Right before the final mission, when my Shep was pacing her private quarters and preparing for what was ahead, and then she took a moment to just kind of... memorize the picture she had of Kaidan on her desk. Brought tears to my eyes.

Tali's mission and the reunion with Ashley (my LI from ME1) were the two most emotional scenes from me. I teared up at both. The initial jubilation ashley showed from seeing you followed by the pain of betrayal after discovering you were working with Cerberus was very well voice acted. Tali's mission was also very heartfelt as well.

Seeing Garrus and Wrex for the first time brought smiles to my face.

There were so many moments in there:
  • Shepard's death/rebirth
  • Thane in my femShep's cabin before the suicide mission - he had a moment where he teared up and that actually made ME tear up, embarrassingly (I was doing the paragon thing, don't know if it's different for a renegade)
  • Tali & her father (yes, I gave her a hug and that scene made me weepy too - she's like my femShep's little sister!), and her trial
  • Zaeed's death after I had him lead the last distraction team
  • Chakwas and Joker being angry (however briefly) that I waited and didn't save everyone
  • Seeing Kaidan on Horizon
  • Mordin's loyalty story
I mean, seriously, pretty much every loyalty mission was moving in some way (not exactly with Zaeed, but it was good that I was able to get him to see past revenge). It was all pretty awesome I thought. Even Samara/Morinth had me getting a little teary - Samara really loved all her daughters and the pain of what she had to do showed.

Just did Garrus's quest. Oh man. The talk in the cab was epic... the lighting... Shepard's words, Garrus almost crazed with taking down his former teammate

My Shep chose not to let Garrus take him out. The manuvering my Shep did

"I'm the only thing that stands between you and a bullet to the head."

Garrus's comm chatter, and the choice weather to let him kill or not....

When the first Normandy got destroyed.

I was mad... I wanted to wipe out those alien bastards for killing my ship and my crew and killing my Shepard.

How dare they try that crap!

if you don't upgrade the ship, Tali tries to escape the engine blast and it vaporized her. It was brutal. I had a save where I didn't upgrade anything.

1. Tali's loyalty mission (paragon hug scene and trial are highlights)

2. Normandy crash site

3. Joker saving the Normandy and becoming friends with EDI

4. Tali's recruitment (you find find out how much Shepard means to her)

5. Drinking with Dr Chakwas

6. Standing up to the Illusive Man at the end

The most emotional part for me was actually when Legion plays the Geth recording for Shepard, and the Geth platform asks its Quarian master if it has a soul. I've really taken a large interest in the Geth, throughout the Mass Effect universe, and how the rest of the galactic community treats them as if they should not exist. But in reality, with sentience comes life, and all life really should be respected. Even the Geth, because of their existence, are amazing, and no one has the right to declare that they can't have life.

Yeah I agree with you on number 3. I was mad when they tried to take the crew away and I had just left too...
What really got me mad more than anything was seeing Kelly was getting yanked away and screaming.... and I couldn't do anything. I wanted to shoot them right then and there.

Some randoms...

Looking through the Big F&^*£^ Hole™ at space through the roof of the Normandy being shot to hell and it hitting me like a ton of bricks that I was not in Kansas any more and that this game was going to be all kinds of epic.

Realising Archangel was Garrus.

The switch in Liara's voice when she's threatening to flay a man with her brain, then she turns and is immediately her old self, all small and harmless, when you meet her again.

Headbutting the Krogan who has Mr Worf's voice. I mean that's Chuck Norris worthy. I couldn't believe I'd done that when it happened.

Basically anything to do with Thane. That guy actually made me ashamed to play as a Renegade. Probably why my score got knackered.

My Liara reunion. Even after she explained her reasoning I was terrified when she said something along the lines of "I am not my mother, I am in complete control of my actions".

That sold it to me that she simply wasn't the girl I loved.

The whole ending of course, though nobody died.

And while all of the character reunions were great, Wrex treating me just like he did 2 years ago, complete with a handshake, was so so uplifting, happy tears.

(This is after Ashley totally shuns me)

Actually the only two parts that really tugged at my emotions.
First was when the Collectors were boarding the Normandy.  It was when I was running around with Joker and I saw Kelly being dragged into the elevator by the hair screaming.
Second was when Kelly melted in the Collector ship while Shephard watched.
Dunno why, I hadn't pursued any love interest with her but she was always so sweet and happy for the whole game then... *sniff*
The moment when Tali slid on the platform wasn't emotional in a sad way, more of a "dammit Bioware you better not kill her off!" kind of emotion. :D

when you play as joker, brilliant idea by bioware
tali finding her dad's body
realizing i really messed up when i handed the evidence about tali's dad to the admiralty
meeting up with the fire team the second time around (i picked thane as the leader) and having thane come through the door clutching his side saying "there were too many of them, shields didnt hold up" while gasping before falling to his knees, hanging his head and dying.

i was so mad about thane dying i yelled "wtf!" but i had to stick with it for the purpose of realism.

Hands down, it was the reunion with Kaidan. First off, I knew that our love interests were going to have very limited roles in this game and I really wanted to try out the other romances. I didn't see the point in waiting until the third game to even pick up where I left off with Kaidan. Plus it had been two years since he saw Shepard. Enough time to get over her, right? Right? When Kaidan saw me again and gave me this warm embrace, I turned into a pile of mush. And then I took a punch in the gut when he yelled at me, obviously feeling very betrayed. I realized, wow, this guy really cares for me. He's spouting off that he loved me, thought what we had was special, and in the middle of all that, I decided that I was going to go through that entire playthrough romance-less and just wait for ME3 for the big payoff. He was worth the wait, even if the final game doesn't come out for years. (Getting that email from him was great.) I really, really appreciated that moment of looking at Kaidan's picture just before the suicide mission. I'm impressed that this game handled the romance well enough to get me to change my mind about Kaidan.

I'm a big cry baby so I spent a lot of the game being choked up. My top five though would be

1: Losing Legion to the Swarm. I don't know why but when he screeched out "critical.error.error.er-" and Shep screamed for him and just missed catching him...I lost it. I had to restart the whole mission.

2: Samara sliding down the platform at the end. I haven't yelled at a video game since I was like 8 but I literally screamed at Shep to save her. Then again when she caught Shep as he jumped into the shuttle (I was certain she was going to get shot like Thane when she leaned out of cover). I swear the animators earned my undying love with her facial expressions in those two scenes.

3: Tali's Loyalty mission.

4: Joker mission. Just every single thing about that made me feel dead inside.

5: Walking around the empty Normandy after the Joker mission.

although now I realize that none of those would have mattered had I not upgraded the ship. I wouldn't have been able to handle Tali being vaporized. I would have had to stop playing.
I mean... cold as it sounds, I was relieved when Thane died because I'd almost sent Tali through the vents. And I adored Thane.
