After 4-5 waves of walking corpses, they just stopped spawning and there's nothing I can do to make them spawn again. I have searched the whole town to see if a monster wasn't stuck in a wall or something but no luck. I also cannot reload a save because the game auto-saved right after the bug happened. I am also not the only one affected by this game-breaking bug as seen here http://daforums.biow...&forum=146&sp=0 . It would be greatly appreciated if a Bioware employee could reply to this thread.
Thanks in advance.

This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. Wasted a few hours on it now, done it several times now and it always gets stuck, eventually. Once I made it past the militia wave before it stuck, but lately it's been sticking on the first one.

Start heading up into the misty mountain. There might be one standing around up there

I just wound up using the console kill everything command a few times, worked like a charm.

I've had this problem a couple times, sometimes the archer that is suppose to come out and say the warriors at the lake need help, never seems to spawn, even after clearing/killing all the skeletons of the waves at the knights. Usually had to exit the game and restart the fight to get it to work, I've also experienced the part where you kill all the skeletons at the mayor but the game doesn't seem to register the fact even after running around looking for "stuck" skeletons. Using the kill all hostiles command would likely help in that situation. Heck I even had one situation where the skeletons never stopped spawning and was eventually overrun after a good try at trying to slay them all.

Im returning my game due to bugs. I could have bought 6 months of wow time instead of this unstable crap that never gets patched.

The spawns are not working properly. I loaded a game, that produced no spawns at all. After a short time, two zombies were coming down the green mist. I killed them. I think these spawns, and the spawn at the beach were somehow connected, because in the meantime more and more waves of zombies from the beach were coming to the milita.
I wasted a bunch of enemies in the green fog, and went down to the milita. It was overrun with some waves of zombies.
This spawns are buggy, and should be fixed soon. It's a really annoying bug. I had it once, from six characters I am playing.

Nothing? No hints to get triggers to start?
Come on BIOWARE, at least tell me you are working on it. I am about to restart event again, from before entering Redcliffe.
Lie to me. Seriously stepped on every piece of land in this event, and nothing. Blizzard the gateways, killed my toons in fire, nothing....nothing has worked.
Help please

I have the same problem. I never get past the fight at the windmill. I have installed the patch before entering Redcliffe. Checked the whole town for stragglers and used the console command to kill all enemies and I still don't get the cutscene to trigger. I have replayed from before the attack about 8 times with the same result. Help anyone?

Seems like the corpsestay mod was to blame for the first stage. But now I have run into the same problem as everyone else down at the chantry. Looked for stragglers all over, tried the killallhostiles command.

Playing PC STEAM version, and I do have a similar problem. The undead seem to get stuck(standing in the same spot) or refuse to appear for 5 minutes. Other then this problem, it was fine and I was able to defeat them, thus continue-ing the quest. You got it have it fully patched, correct?

yes, fully patched, Removed the mod which was causing the issue at the windmill. The undead at the chantry stops coming and then there is nothing. I just ran around and used the console command at all the spawnpoints but nothing happens. Anyone know the name of the script? It would be a real lifesaver if it could be triggered manually.

I had the same issue but solved it by not running into the mist but rather let the undead come to me ,then the guy came and asked for help and the undead respawned in town
Very annoying but not a game-breaker

Not for me, it isn't. This is very frustrating, I don't have a lot of time to game anymore, and I don't enjoy spending that time chasing a bug across the intertubes.
