As some of you probably know, if you do Samra's loyalty quest, you can get Morinth to join your team. She is romanceable. But, if you have sex with her, you die, and can not load back. The play through ends in Shephard's death. But, I heard a rumor that if you have a very high Renegade score and no paragon points at all, you can survive it. Anyone tried it and can confirm/deny? I personally haven't, and considering how far I've gotten in my current playthrough (and that I killed Morinth.) I'm not trying it anytime soon.

She's an Ardat-Yakshi. No matter how tough or willful you are, sexing Morinth is invariably fatal. I didn't know she could join you instead of Samara, though. That's pretty badass.

She did a pretty good job of brainwashing some people IRL if they believe its not an immediate game over. I'm going with completely false and the people who started the rumor are basing it on the assumption that what Morinth tells Shepard about sex is true.

By the time you get Morinth, you've gotten at least a few of the forced paragon points. So it's just a rumor intended to mess w/ ppl.

i think its not true. i think bioware really wanted to just keep her as the ultimate femme fatale (spelling) in resulting death from sex.



theres tons of movie characters, wildlife that kills their mate after they hookup. maybe thats what they wanted?

Maybe if you've got a high enough Renegade score you can just finish real early, slap her round the face, say, "Don't try to change me, baby" and walk out before she actually manages to get warmed up.

Still, be pretty awesome if Shepard could survive sex with her. I mean we're talking about the guy that survived the prothean beacon mind warp - there's definitely something extra in him. And having sex with Morinth - maybe killing her in the process instead - would be a very powerful way of showing dominance.

Would be funny if having a high renegade/paragon melding with her would kill HER instead.

She actually says something similar to that, wondering if Shepard could be a mate strong enough to survive.  And she says it longingly.  I actually felt sorry for her.  It made me wonder how much of what she does is hunger for power, and how much is hunger for companionship.  Bit of both I'd guess.

I wouldn't be surprised. <_< I don't think even Doctors should know 'that' much about interspecie relationships.
