As some of you probably know, if you do Samra's loyalty quest, you can get Morinth to join your team. She is romanceable. But, if you have sex with her, you die, and can not load back. The play through ends in Shephard's death. But, I heard a rumor that if you have a very high Renegade score and no paragon points at all, you can survive it.

I've heard a rumor that you can do it as Paragon but you must name yor character ChuckNorris.

The lazarus project! I just need to get the illusive man to revive me one more time after Morinth ****s my brains out (literally.) So it took two years and billions of credits to bring Shepard back to life, so what? I doubt the illusive man would mind, he's doesn't seem like a ****-blocker.

The point is: No you cannot cure it.

YES you can survive it.
People die by getting stuck by lightning every year. (58 on average)
However there is a gentleman by the name of Roy C. Sullivan who is a park ranger who has been struck by lightning 7 times. I am not saying he enjoys this, or will live if he gets hit again. But, the fact is what is fatal for someone is not always fatal for another.
