So... a bit of a silly question, but do you get into trouble for endorsing every shop on the Citadel?  I'm kinda surprised by some of the paragon choices in ME2.  A couple of them appear kinda mean.

No, nothing happens. Regarding mean paragon options; telling the hungry krogan the truth about presidium fish was the worst, he was actually depressed by it, yet it's the paragon choice. wtf?

I did it with all of them and didn't get in trouble. I kept waiting for one of them to mention it, lol.

Doing the Endorsements as a paragon actually turns out for you geting a store discount and that "I am commander shepard and this is my favorite store on the citadel" ever time you walk into the store.

Haha, thanks. I actually hadn't thought of the Krogan and fish one, but I suppose it is kinda mean. The ones that stand out the most to me besides the endorsements are the ones involving Conrad. When you talk to the shop owner who lied to Conrad and then you, you can lie right back to her. Kinda mean, but she deserved it. Then when you go back to Conrad you have the option to lie to him too by perpetuating the lie the shop owner told him. It just didn't seem very Paragon-y to me. I skipped that choice and then it gave me a Paragon choice that didn't involve lying.

I kinda like that they give you multiple paragon options if you turn down the first ones, but you'd think all the Paragon options would be good and selfless. That's not so true in ME2. Apparently Paragon doesn't necessarily mean righteous; it just means you're not being physically cruel.

I know, but still... I felt bad about ruining some random krogan's day instead of giving him a fish that he'd never have known wasn't from the presidium and making him happy. Even if the paragon option is morally right, it's still mean...

haha you would have chosen the renegade then lol
cause you're essentially lying lol
the paragon in this game is like samara paragon
hardcore paragon
while renegade is not always evil but also manipulative

I endorsed them all. Really, the only downside is that, if you haven't bought everything yet, you'll be hearing yourself tell you what your favorite store is a lot.

I know that I probably should have picked the renegade option but rp wise my Shep is a true paragon so.... yeah. Doesn't mean I can't feel bad for him though...

No trouble in this game, but I did it anyways for the free easy Paragon points.

I think by saying this is my favorite store on the citadel, actually means like favorite pet store or favorite weapon store. So the shops that you endorse are all your favorite weapon, pet, food, etc shops

I did that on every store except for the souvenir shop. I couldn't resist the renegade option. I love the fake outrage in male-shep's voice.

I couldn't bring myself to be so dorky so I refused all endorsements. On the other hand, demanding a discount just didn't sound right either. I don't want to pay full price, but I also don't like the choices here. You either have to be a dork or an a**, and my Shep is neither- even if he is renegade. I found this a lot in the game. That, and the game is kinda forcing a paragon character. If anyone has finished (with a full team) using renegade, I'd love to hear about it.
