I started a renegade run, and it just doesnt feel right. Even on Freedom's progress. Why would you be a jerk to a former crewmate? stuff like that

You can get a ton of Renegade points without being a jerk all the time. Just be an ass to your enemies and make the major Renegade decisions/interrupts and you'll have a full meter in no time. My first playthrough character had a full Renegade meter even after spending most of the game being nice to the entire crew, being nice to all quarians, and being cool to all krogan except Uvenk. It probably helped that I was a complete **** to every single batarian I encountered.

Maybe you're insane? Maybe you have no patience for the obvious? Maybe you're too stupid to realize the obvious? Maybe you're absolutely ruthless and have no time for pleasantries? Maybe your momma dropped you on your head and forced you to eat puppies as a child? Who knows. I think there are all sorts of explanations you can come up with if you want to. If you're not enjoying it, don't play it.

*breathes* Sorry if that sounds pissy. I get frustrated when I feel like people are hung-up on Renegade/Paragon thing... just play the character you want to play. My first play-through was Ruthless, and that's how I played her. She wasn't insane, she wasn't stupid, she wasn't racist; she was just frakking ruthless and would put you down if you got lippy or, god help you, between her and her mission. That meant I didn't select all of the renegade options, but I selected enough that it made sense to me and was fun. If you can't figure out why your character would say the things that are offered, then say something else. You're presented choices for a reason.

Also this. If you think just pointing the control stick to the bottom selections is what makes Renegade a Renegade, you're doing it wrong.

LOL SnowHeart. Youre right and i needed that. See Im running renegade to see new outcomes, but im not personally a renegade, off the handle person, im much more tactical, fit the situation guy, so maybe thats why full tilt doesnt sit well w/me
