Using Opera 9.64. If I have it identify itself as Opera or as Internet Explorer, clicking on any link brings up the "You must be logged in to view this page" page. The workaround at the moment is to haved Opera identify itself as Firefox; then things seem to work as expected. Let me know if you need more info. (Hmm... I wonder what would happend if I tried Opera "Bork Edition"...)

The problem seems to be that you're changing your user-agent, and our session handling code isn't able to recover nicely.   Does it work if you clear your session cookies and visit the site without changing user-agents?

I think you've got it. I had successfully logged in with Safari on the Mac side of things (after deleting cookies), and thought it would clear things up on the Windows side. Instead, it exhibited the behaviour described above and I got confused. After clearing cookies in Opera, it now lets me log in while identified as Opera. I guess the interesting behaviour is that it worked at all without clearing cookies when identifying as Firefox! Anyhow, all seems well with the world now...

a fix for this behaviour has been deployed; you should not get stuck if you change your user-agent (though you will get logged out).
