I'm sure there are other rants out there (I would add to them but i seem unable to search), but what is up with not being able to play offline after i use downloaded content. Seems yet another way to punish the people who buy the game in an attempt to stop pirates.
This is a big issue for me since my internet connection is spotty, somedays it will be hours between when i can connect (Mobile Broadband card, cause i live in the boonies) so this means it will be hours before i can use my character with the DLC, pretty lousy if you ask me.
I just want to say that this(and things like SecuROM) are pushing me away from buying games for the PC from EA.

Well I lost sometime connection with Bioware during a long time and was able to play after a warning about it. I don't know how long you can be disconnected.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ONLINE TO PLAY.
They need a giant sticky of that right at the top of the forums, because apparently even people that are here every day have missed the 90000 complaints about it where people explain very slowly that once your DLC is authorized you can play offline without any issues, you just have to select 'Log Out'.
