Joker is the true hero of this story.  Absolutely epic in that he had no guns but was avoiding Collectors and at the end was firing away.

Anyway back to the story.  I feel that the story was fine on its own but really did very little to progress the plot forward in the fight against the Reapers.  All we learned was that the Reapers reproduce by selecting one "honored" race to become new Reapers.  There might have been some info on the tablet we got at the end, which it seems was forwarded to Shepard from the Collector General, but they never really explained it which would have been greatly appreciated.  The story feels way too detached from the trilogy as a whole and the Bioware "twist" wasn't as good as the first game but it did have some moments.  We still have no idea how Shepard plans on taking on an armada of Reaper ships although you could say he did shore up some support in the final battle.  The moral choices were leagues better and actually felt like moral issues and there was alot of gray area.  The interrupt system was very well done and Renegade didn't necessarily feel evil but very practical.

The characters were EXTREMELY well done and many of the loyalty missions were very good if a little short.  The romances were very good and much better than the first game.  It would be a shame if many of these characters don't return in ME3 due to them being killed in certain games.

The voice acting was superb as well as the music.  I though Sheen was an odd fit but he did a fantastic job and I'm looking forward to seeing him again.  The visuals were also absolutely great and leagues better than the first with less loading texture problems and loading problems in general.

Now onto the gameplay mechanics.  I thought they did a very good job overall with a few hitches on the side.  The hacking and bypass games were great and I think they did a pretty good job on those.  The planet scanning game is an interesting idea but has horrible execution due to the slow as molasses cursor which could be very easily fixed with a patch.  The scanning game is too crucial for it to be as bad as it is and somewhat hurts the game's replayability knowing you're going to waste hours rotating a planet.  There were a few missions that had infinite respawning enemies that Bioware should cut out in the future but overall the AI of certain enemies very much impressed me(mainly the Geth and the Collectors to a sort).  The Geth always rushed when they had a Hunter which was the right call and Harbinger knew when to possess a Collector(mainly when the Collector was going to die) in order to give the Collector full health and shields.  The guns and powers were for the most part fine but I do worry about the biotics in general as they are on the weaker side.

Basic information: Level 30 Infiltrator, Insanity, No Man Left Behind
