EA Support are incompetent bastards! *finally resolved*

I say, what the hell? Is there an install limit on Bring Down the Sky
as well? I spent 24 hours waiting for an EA support e-mail reply.
Didn't get one, still haven't received one. Spent 4 times failing to
reach the chat support, each time taking 25-30 minutes and the 5th time
getting through, also taking 25 minutes.

Then he could unlock my
Mass Effect 1, and I specifically also gave him my Bring Down the Sky
serial so he could unlock it too. He asked what that code was and I
said it was the Bring Down the Sky code as I wasn't sure he was going
to need it.

Now when I finally install it it sais to me I can't
because it's reached the install limit. I mean... where did this whole
damn soup go wrong? I shall have to go back to the EA support again
*sigh*

I never saw any Chat support! Where did u find one?



Can u post the link to that support chat? because im also was tired to deal with EA support during 2 monthes about my issue with ME CD-KEY and NFS undercover.



They surely not compitent at all, half of 1st post from them was just stupid generic copypaste totaly not connected with my issue, after i said that im going to sue them for violation of my cunsomer rights and actions of fraud nature (when they promice 1 thing and doing another) they finaly started to deal with my problem, but it also was pain in @one place@.

One guy CharlyN totaly driven me mad with his replies, but in then end (2 month since i started ticked) we came to conclusion.



My suggestion - if they aint support u 1st time, warn them about legal actions, if they aint support u after this, go to court, EA bosses really need to have something to hurt in their butts so they can feel that there is something wrong with their support and this support should be totaly replaced.

It is their policy to give them one at a time. For ME1 use the deauthorization tool next time.

They refuse the chat because they already have explained they can´t give you more activations.

Was no 9th, they shut down the chat support. Now I guess I continue to wait on my ticket. It's only been 3 days now. Piece of crap.

No that's not it. I sat waiting in line for my turn in the chat and once it WAS my turn it said chat request was canceled. I know they only authorize 1 at a time because they told me so the first time I actually managed to get hold of them. What he FAILED to do that was to unlock 1 for Bring Down the Sky.

The reason the tool didn't work was that it wasn't installed on this windows.

EA Support is **** ive been waiting 2 days after release in UK and i still dont have my pre order or my digital deluxe item codes/serials yet and they will not do a single thing about it as from what i have heard same for all EU ME2 Digital Deluxe Version pre orders

EA is just hurting themselves doing this but your just a single person they can care less about you to be honest .Its bull*** yes and I'm not defending them in the least . I'm just working on a project that will fix this whole issue for all gamers. Its about finished and almost ready in implement. It is nothing illegal so don't worry about that So if this sounds like a good thing just pvt MSG me for further details. I'm not talking about a quick fix because there is no possible way to achieve that. They are just to big now And they just don't care about us (except our $$ that is ). But IMO my project its whats been needed for a long time and it will work

Good luck with your project Motion Poetry... if only EA knew how much honest purchasers rely on tools like that just to make the bloody thing work in legitimate situations. Effectively, you're increasing their sales - if it wasn't for things like that many people would stop buying.

Yeah no kidding. If they're going to use limited installs and point to a non-working tech support to help you I'm really not anxious to spend any money in that direction anymore.

I feel your pain dude.

I, like so many others here, have supported this company over the years by purchasing their software, only to have those purchases thrown back in my face with missing codes, an arrogant lack of information from Bioware and an EA support system that effectively says **** you when you send in a support email or try to use 'live' chat.

I still await the codes I paid for nearly a week ago. This won't happen to me again for future releases.

Yes I'm ony 1 person, but if many of us do this we may change this developers attitude when they look at the bottom line next time round.

I also encourage everyone who hasn't received any of their codes in a few days to pursue a refund through their Credit Card company if possible, on the very clear grounds of not receiving the goods they paid for. If the number of chargebacks grows then the CC company's may start to ask EA / Bioware questions...nothing talks louder than money.

This is the direct link to their chat support, it doesn't work 24-7 though. I have had to contact them 4 times to get my issues with a ME2 pre order solved, in order to get them 4 times I have had to try to get into a chat 10 times, for some idiotic reason after you wait in a line for about half an hour (never saw a wait time longer than about that) they can still say the chat was cancelled because there are no agents available.

Yeah, hours added up to resolve this issue, which remains unresolved: 6.5 hours waiting in chat line.

I don't know if you would consider this a viable alternative, but there is at least one very well put together archive of mass effect 1 saves. it prevents you from having to replay the first game, and picking the one you would like to try. its nice for when you want to try something without spending ~10 hours (minimum) replaying the first game.

EDIT: please google, since the site went down once already due to bandwidth issues, i'd prefer people who have a little intelligence find it instead of just hordes of randoms :D
