I keep finding minerals after the scanning results says that the planet is depleted. I don't know if this is a bug or what. Anyone here also noticed that? Before you say that it's only small spikes I though I should let you know that while there are some small spikes I also find very high spikes.

It isn't a bug, it is just a bad way of describing how many resources are left on the planet.

But still. Even if it's bad design choice people still think the planet is depleted os all minerals when clearly it's not.

wanted to add that I also found some eezo after depletion.
