So this is something I've noticed while using that awesome Face site someone posted up for FemSheps. Their Femsheps have eyelashes.

Mine don't. Is this some graphical option I have to turn on, or...?

My computer can handle anything ME2 can throw at me, so I just need to be told what to turn on. :X

Eyelashes actually add to it, surprisingly enough.

Lol. Mine has eyelashes. I find them incredibly creepy. Have you tired messing with the face settings. I remember some eyes not having that great eyelashes and some that where like THESE are eyelashes.

It isn't a matter of eyeshape. Mine are just entirely not present.



Meh. It may be petty, but its kept me from making a FemShep thus far.

Not sure, but it could be your graphics settings.

For a long time at the start of my game my femshep didn't have eyelashes. Then I put on a visor and played longer. At some point I noticed she had eyelashes under that visor and from then on they never disappeared again.



Probably some obscure bug.

apparently, importing a character will cause eyelashes to disappear. definitely a bug.

Just curious but does anyone else notice how off some of the eyes look?



I mean one minute you're talking to someone with regular eyes the next minute they are either cross eyed or what not.

I had a similar problem, but shortly after omega my characters eyelashes just came back. Kirika69 may be on to something about the visor I do remember them coming back shortly after I started using it, however I cant be sure.

I have the same problem any time I try to import my character. I jsut wait until I can save, and then re-open ME2. Kind of silly, but it works

yeah, a reboot always fixes my eyelashless-ness.

Yeah, I ran into hte eyelashlessness too on my femshep import.

It's so, so irritating, because it definitely detracts from your character's appeal. I rebooted and they popped back into her eyelids!

I've been having this problem too. The frustrating part for me is I'd actually prefer the eyelashes never show up... they all look kinda like false eyelashes you might get at a drugstore. I found a "fix" here for ATI users -

Not an ATI user myself, however. This might sound silly, but is there a "break" anywhere out there? Some way to make the eyelashes stay gone?

I wish. I feel the same way about them. They look so horribly fake. I guess the only way to keep them broken for now is to keep the game running till we finish... LOL

I think its a display bug. All my imported sheps have no eyelashes on the character creation screen. Save, exit ME2 and reload the save and you will have eyelashes in game.



If you start a new shep your character will have eyelashes on the character creation screen.

I hate those huge eyelashes also, and would absolutely love to find a way to remove them, if anyone knows if it's possible and how it would be great!

I thought the eyelashes show when you give the femshep black eyeshadow n what not? thats what happens to my shep anyway

I agree.  It was like that in ME1 too.

Yeah, it drives me nuts and has a tendency to break immersion just a tad. As if the low-res textures weren't bad enough its like OHAI YOU'RE PLAYING A COMPUTER GAME! I know it's a minor gripe, but this one's been under my skin for a loooong time.

Also, is it just me, or does it only ever happen over the right eye? I don't think I've ever seen it happen with the left for some damn strange reason.

Here's what I noticed: My FemShep's eyelashes were gone when she woke up in the Lazarus Project. The first time I saw ALL of my imported FemSheps, there were no eyelashes. But they had appeared by the time we were at Freedom's Progress, every time. It was such a repeatable occurrence that I thought it was part of the story, that maybe she'd been awakened so quickly that her eyelashes hadn't grown in.
