 I'm not sure if this is anything public but, my game sometimes freezes. Is it because I'm playing straight off the disc without having it on the Hard Drive, or... what?

It's not SO serious that Im getting angry, but I just want to know if this is an isolated issue or not.

Not having a problem with freezing as much as I am with the autosave not loading when I turn my system off then try to play later. I have had to restart my game 4 times already

Do you mean, the actual Campaign; or a spot way back from where you left off?

Okay now this is getting ridiculous. My game freezes randomly, usually after a good 30 mins of gametime, when I really start getting immersed... now, Im not lazy, but getting up repeatedly to restart my damn xbox is just over-doing it.



NOTE: I've read that the game discs are Dual-Layered DVD, could that be an issue?

Err.. I may not know exactly.. but I had the same thing happen to me with Halo 3 when I first got an Xbox360.. 3 hours later.. the thing RROD'd. of course.. that was also within 4 hours of buying the damn thing.

Hope that doent happen to you.. but be ready if you have a hardware failure due to overheating.

Hmm, could just letting it rest for a while (a few days) fix it, or is the damage already done?

I've burned the disc and I have the same problem.
